TPC Scottsdale - The Stadium Course

Cart path only is not the way to play this course. Enjoyed the exercise, but yardages were difficult to judge selecting clubs at the cart and walking out to your ball. Greens were true, but rock hard & unreceptive unless hitting wedges into green. Fairways recently seeded and had inconsistent lies. Strong cold wind from the North made it uncomfortable, but always enjoy TPC Scottsdale.

greens were VERY slow, VERY bumpy. Fairways were wet, soft, long and in poor condition. Disappointed that we pay expensive rates for very poor conditions.

Staff was excellent, as always, very friendly.

Played this course because of notoriety. Several tricky areas on course. Not as enjoyable as several others.

Of course nice course played it a few times with the stadium and bleachers in place friends from out of town wanted to play they were expecting much harder course but overall great shape just the greens were really slow

Great outing, fairways and greens in excellent condition. Greens roll true and at a good pace . Front nine not to

memorable or exciting but the back nine makes up for it. A little pricey but what do you pay for a memory ?

I don’t get why this place gets a bad reputation. Some iconic hole as seen on TV and video games. It’s a tour course, why not get a chance to play from tips like pros. Not many other places let you play actual tips. Greens were true but a little slow. I was a single with my wife riding along and i finished in two hours. Talk about perfect. This was on a Tuesday and A few people let me pass. I can see it being very busy on weekends. But green grass everywhere there should be, nice practice facility. I had a great time. Sure a plane flies over here and there and I feel $160 is still a tad high for august. Glad I did it not instead of $400 in winter. Great course.

Playing a course that is a regular stop on the tour is humbling. You see their shots and your imagination plays tricks with you as you imagine playing some of the same shots. Then you realize, you are a 16 handicap, not a tour player, and the course is an indeed challenge to play. Yet, it is a fun course to play with superb fairways and greens even in the summer when I played. It can be costly and you need some advanced planning to score a good tee time but persist, and you will have your own memories of the two or three tour level shots you hit whihc always keep us coming back for more.

Played on 7/4 during an independence day celebration at a nearby facility. There was a helicopter and airplanes circling above during most of our front 9. The noise made it tough to concentrate.

I love to play the Stadium, especially when I can catch a great price. Winter pricing is prohibitive ; however the GN app makes it easy to watch for the deals.

The course was in perfect shape. Early morning was an awesome time to play. Best part was watching my son birdie #16 after nearly flying it in the hole.
