Designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf, The Stadium Course at TPC Scottsdale was purpose-built to host the PGA Tour's Phoenix Open, and it has done so since 1987. Designed with high drama in mind, the venue is well known as one of the most exciting and fan-friendly in all of golf, which includes a thrilling finishing stretch that begins with the risk-reward 15th hole. The course plays to over 7,200 yards from the tournament tees, but golfers who play the course during their Arizona golf vacation will find the layout has more forgiving fairways than many other area desert courses. The TPC experience includes one of the most encompassing practice areas in the destination, as well as grand clubhouse that includes the Toro Restaurant and Rum Bar. TPC Scottsdale is also home to the Champions Course, which plays out of a separate facility nearby.

Back 9 worth the money to play once

Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Started on #10. Great layout challenging yet playable if you are smart.

Front 9 was excellent but not nearly as exciting as back nine.

It was a “bucket” list course for me.

Would I play again? Not at current price.

Play here lots. Always enjoy.

Only complaint this time was that greens were very slow and shaggy to the standards I’m used to here at TPC Stadium.

Have played the course many times over the years. Always a treat to play. Staff off and on the course are friendly and hospitable.

First time ever, found the greens not up to the speed like past plays here. Slow and shaggy for TPC Stadium standards.

The Stadium Didn’t Disappoint

Course layout was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Sam Meyer was one of the best caddies I’ve ever had on the bag. Highly recommend for any serious golfer looking for a first class experience.

What a treat

Played TPC for the first time and it was perfect start to finish. From the practice facilities to walking off 18 this course did not disappoint. Thoroughly enjoyed having Jax, our provided caddie, on the bag with us. The course knowledge was a big help for sure. 10/10 would recommend.

Somewhat disappointed...

Cart path only is not the way to play this course. Enjoyed the exercise, but yardages were difficult to judge selecting clubs at the cart and walking out to your ball. Greens were true, but rock hard & unreceptive unless hitting wedges into green. Fairways recently seeded and had inconsistent lies. Strong cold wind from the North made it uncomfortable, but always enjoy TPC Scottsdale.

Poor conditions yet full price.

greens were VERY slow, VERY bumpy. Fairways were wet, soft, long and in poor condition. Disappointed that we pay expensive rates for very poor conditions.

Staff was excellent, as always, very friendly.
