Palm at McCormick Ranch Golf Club

Was a single paired with a couple and another single. Practice area was fine, short game, driving range and pitting green. All in good condition. It wasn’t cheat to play early afternoon, but was reasonable. Had a fun round and enjoyed the course.

Course is nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Like the small bucket of practice balls included. Pace was good until the last 5 or 6 holes, not sure what happened and didn't a marshal, but it close to end of day.

Played at 12.30 with nobody ahead so finished the round in 3 hours which was great. Fairways and greens in good condition albeit the greens were still a little slow after reseeding. Not impressed that the water sprinklers were turned on when we were on the third green and our cart and clubs were given a soaking.

Fairways in poor condition. Greens very slow, although will be good in 2-3 weeks once overseed has taken full effect.. course really appears to be showing it’s age.

Loads of unrepaired pitch marks on greens. Bunkers not raked. Obviously people playing don't care. Shame. Great layout. Play early as 1.30 onwards touch and go you will finish.

Too much goose poop.The poop really affected the play and the course rateing

The bunkers were not very good. Need to invest in some more rakes

On cart GPS was below average. The course was very dry so hard to understand cart path only. I would not recommend this course. For the value

Embarrassing. The course was in poor conditions. The bunkers were essentially unplayable standing water, mud and grass/weeds growing into them. They are closing the course Monday for over seeding but never mentioned this when booking. Pretty embarrassing they charged $140. Never again

started with no food or coffee for 8 am tee time

bathrooms had no water, only port-a potties.. picked wrong day to skip breakfast.

Course layout was fun, weather was perfect, but the sandtraps are severely overgrown around the edges. literally grass growing 2-3 feet down into the bunkers, made it impossible to locate a ball hit in the bunker. lots of water on the other side of fairway made you aim more at those bunkers.
