Well maintain course in hot weather condition , nice greens

An enjoyable round , good ;layout. Challenges your shotmaking.

Friendly staff and cart girl. Course was in good shape. The greens were a little inconsistent but decent. Great time with my son and the 2 guys we played with were awesome. We will be back.

The course is in great shape. The greens are receptive. A thinking man's course. Nice practice areas. Well marked and maintained cart paths, and easy to follow hole to hole routing. Nice and clean facilities. We saw the beverage cart 5 times in our round, which is fairly unheard of anymore. A must play! But, bring your smart, A-Game; otherwise, macho thinking and uncontrolled swings will lead to a long day.

Normally, I complain about playing on courses with aerated greens, but not so here. This course was challenging. When on the tee box, you look at where the fairway is, and you say “oboy”!, because there is a lot of desert plants to get over, in order to reach it. The longest stretch was 169 yds. The fairways are wide, and a few dry creek beds cross them on some holes. There are plenty of sand traps also.

Getting back to the greens; not a real problem. My playing partner was sinking more putts than he normally does an untreated green. And the par 3’s had plenty of distance, I even used my driver on the 218 yd one. This course is well taken care of and I will return.

One other note, free range balls. Not many courses offer that, so you want to get there early, to take advantage.

Booked Legend Trail for what I thought was a good rate. Turns out that the greens on all 18 holes had just been aerated and sanded. The back nine were closed so had to play the front twice.

Golf shop apologized stating that they published this information but Golf Now took it off the website so they could make their money and screw us golfers.

Not a good idea! You are better than that Golf Now, right?? Disclose all the issues with any course and let the golfer determine if he/she wants to play under certain conditions.

Played Legend at Arrowhead on a Sunday morning and I was thoroughly impressed with how well the conditions were for summer golf in Arizona! The greens rolled amazing and the fairways were lush grass. The best summer conditions I have played in a few summers here in the Phoenix area. Must play right now!

I’ve reviewed this course before, so I’ll keep it short. This is a desert course with beautiful views and a lot of carries off the tees. If you don’t hit it straight take plenty of balls with you. This year the desert is blooming and you won’t find your ball so don’t waste time looking. The course conditions are great. Try and play it soon.

You said charges would total $96. 14. I paid you $5.83 in advance and told to pay rest at course , $90.76. Legend trail charged me a total of $99.44. When you add on the $5.83 you had already charged , I paid a total of $105.27 not the quoted price of $9614 that’s $9.13 more! Why?

They let people jump on ahead of us that slowed down play.

This place is not worth the money!

Nice now that the snowbirds have left and greenies are down to where they should be YEAR ROUND! I get that we have brutal summers which reduce the number of rounds played, but jeez. Nice little perk for multi play rounds; great course! Nice layout! 11 thru 14 will test your mettle! Get by these in 1 over or even par and you'll shoot your best round ever! Great undulating greens! Probably 7/8 on the stemp.

Pretty darn smooth for Bermuda greens though! Oh yeah! i'll be back!

True desert course, great conditions right now. Greens rolling around 11, but soft and holding shots. Tee boxes could be rolled flat, but other than that course conditions were great.

3 hour 15 minute round shot an 83. This course is as good as any in the area for half the cost. Greens rolled true and the fairways are still green. Winter and spring rains are still having their effect on many of these courses. It looks like March out there, and not the end of May. Legend Trail is a gem. It's a wonderful golf course.

Had a tea good time and enjoyed the tough layout in great condition.

They need marshals. At times there were 3 groups on the tee box.

Course was probably in the best condition I've ever seen it. Pace of play could have been a bit quicker, but it wasn't bad at all. We all really liked the course and I'm sure we'll play it again. All in all, an outstanding day! Highly recommend!

Summer is starting, but this course is in great shape. Fairways are still lush, greens rolled well.
