Course Highlights
The course layout consistently earns high praise, with the Acacia nine standing out as a particularly enjoyable and fun challenge. Exceptionally friendly staff and strong value for money make this a course worth returning to.

Unlike many other Scottsdale courses, Kierland Golf Club's three nines sprawl across rolling hills without a single cactus in sight. The nines are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Mesquite/Ironwood Course is has player-friendly fairways that are generous and easy and the green are large but not particularly undulating or fast, which makes the golf course accessible to a range of different skill levels. The course isn't entirely forgiving though. The Mesquite nine may be the flattest of the three nines but it is also the toughest. The par-4 sixth is especially demanding. The challenges of Mesquite are balanced by the player-friendly nature of the Ironwood nine. There is some strategic mounding but overall the links design is very approachable. The golf course ends with its signature hole, a classic risk-reward opportunity with a lake to the right and sand traps to the left.

Mr.

The course was cart path only due to recent overseeding. The marshalls said we were too slow, even though we finished in 4.5 hours. The course was much too expensive for the conditions that were present. I will not play this course again when it is cart path only.

Cart path only and hilly from the cart path. Only suitable for the very good golfer at this time. Gave up after 5 hours in the heat.

We never would have reserved had we known it was cart path only.

Due to overseeding, front nine was quite slow. Back nine was fairly dry and course was faster.

We enjoyed our day and in particular due to heat especially appreciated the misters on the golf cart.

Just an OK course. Not worth the money. Better courses elswhere.

This course is very highly overrated. Not much challenge. Scenery is blah and course condition is just so-so. There are many other courses in the area that are much more exciting to play, in better condition and much more reasonably priced. This course just isn't worth the cost of play.

Decent course but few memorable holes.

Not great value for the money. No GPS and limited yardage markers. Range balls on a couple of fairways.

Pace of play was painfu at times.

Playable for varying skill levels

My wife and I were at Kierland for a stay-cation and played the Ironwood/Acacia course. As a single-digit handicap, I found the course challenging and in great shape. What's better is my wife, who rarely plays, found the course very playable as well. She was able to keep the ball in play and enjoy her round without getting beat up by penalties and brutally difficult greens which seem more the norm on the higher end daily fee courses I like. It was nice to find a course we both could enjoy together.

Good Course

The course was in good condition but the signature course was not open. I had hoped to play it but it wasn't available. They had some great specials on shirts at the Pro Shop. Price is high considering other courses in the area.

Beautiful Golf Course!

I love this golf course! Kierland is probably my most favorite golf course in Scottsdale. It is absolutely beautiful. The staff is super friendly. The practice faciltiy is awesome! It is covered and they have music playing.

Good

Practice facility prior to play is excellent covered area. Green was fast with practice items available. T boxes and greens were well maintained. I liked the layout with variety of shots and presentation of each hole. Still very playable from tips and not a typical desert course. Advertise the Segway but have none available and force you to take an hour long test just to use em. Not cool.
