About
Great Eagle Golf Club, rated one of the most affordable golf courses in Arizona, is a championship course in the West Valley. Although it has a traditional design there are several unique and challenging elements that come into play such as undulating mounds that cause uneven lies and well-guarded greens. Water hazards also come into play on four holes. The golf course offers three sets of tee boxes so that there is some flexibility regarding levels of challenge, but overall the course is suitable for any player. The Great Eagle Golf Club, in addition to the course, also offers both a chipping green and a putting green.

Enjoyed fairways and greens,. Reason to golf.
Cart paths need some work, but cart paths don't make the course
My happy place
I have played here several times and always have fun. The layout is great, there are many grass bunkers around the greens which add to the challenge. Greens are fast and interesting. The course is set in a charming community and many of the homeowners have decorated their yards in very unique ways. If you're a golf snob this probably isn't the course for you, but it's one of my favorites.
Good value
Played here for the price and the convenience/proximity to where I reside. First time trying out GE. Driven past numerous times and decided to give them a try. No surprises. For what I paid I am satisfied what the course provided me. I would rate the course as middle of the road. There are better, and I know there are worse. I will say the course is not easy on the carts. Not much of a cart path to speak of.
Booked online one spot left for tee time. Was forced to let another player ride in my private cart or join him in the course cart. Not happy about this new rule.
Great Eagle Surprise
Fairways great, greens fair/sandy, cart paths terrible, carts old. Nice layout, challenging pin placements.
Review for 12-8
This was my first time on GE. I was surprised that the layout was nice and conditions were excellent. Staff was nice and starter very helpful. Layout was interesting with grass bunkers and target landing areas. Greens were in terrific shape for this early in the year. Overall a very nice golf outing.
Course in good shape but.
When we booked online the course didn’t say anything like other courses about cart path only.
Course in amazing shape but that would have been an honest thing to let people know before they booked. Not good for someone just coming back from knee injury.
