About
Great Eagle Golf Club, rated one of the most affordable golf courses in Arizona, is a championship course in the West Valley. Although it has a traditional design there are several unique and challenging elements that come into play such as undulating mounds that cause uneven lies and well-guarded greens. Water hazards also come into play on four holes. The golf course offers three sets of tee boxes so that there is some flexibility regarding levels of challenge, but overall the course is suitable for any player. The Great Eagle Golf Club, in addition to the course, also offers both a chipping green and a putting green.

Place needs work
This course has potential to be a very nice course as the layout is great and the course itself could be challenging. But money and maintainance is sorely needed. We only played here as there were no openings anywhere else.
OK course
Trying to follow the cart path is a joke. There is none. No drink cart, limited water available. I will not be playing it again.
Enjoyable course to play. Fairly wide off the tees, but some have tee ball length limits. Greens were pretty fast.
Great staff
We play often and enjoy the challenge. New grounds keeper has the course in much better shape so kudos.
Okay for a round
Tough course with all the creator’s, grass was high, had to find balls
Won’t go back
We started at 7:30. There was no course lay out info so we played blind on every hole. The lady in the club house very welcoming. The starter wasn’t overly congenial nor helpful as to lay out information. If the course had been on a mountain the moguls would be awesome. Miserable Won’t play there again. We booked two other courses very near by. Will play those again.
Not near the course it once was.
20 years ago this was one of the best courses on the west side. It’s gone downhill since they got rid of the bent greens. No drinking water anywhere on the course and the snack bar didn’t open until after 11am. Pretty tough when over 100 degrees by then. No starter at the first tee. Carts lined up by arrival, not tee times.
Don’t bother
Really quite a terrible golf course. At one time this was likely a nice layout but the fairways are horrible (not a nice pie of turf anywhere) and the greens were half dirt. Bottom line: the owners of the course just stopped caring and let this go to pot. Don’t waste your money.
No water available on the course. 2 holes designated as #5. Weeds in the bunkers
Course in good shape but no drinking water access during play
Staff was friendly, course in good shape, bathrooms were full of bugs and there was no place to fill our water bottles on the course.
