About
Great Eagle Golf Club, rated one of the most affordable golf courses in Arizona, is a championship course in the West Valley. Although it has a traditional design there are several unique and challenging elements that come into play such as undulating mounds that cause uneven lies and well-guarded greens. Water hazards also come into play on four holes. The golf course offers three sets of tee boxes so that there is some flexibility regarding levels of challenge, but overall the course is suitable for any player. The Great Eagle Golf Club, in addition to the course, also offers both a chipping green and a putting green.

Don’t go here!
Course is in horrible condition. The fairway is mostly dirt. The greens are unputtable. The staff is extremely rude. Save your money go somewhere else.
Golf cart
Are first golf cart cable to battery connection broke. So brother called u guys took forever with the operator. So brother a I fixed it, then u guy’s traded it out. Then less then 2 minutes the battery’s died down. Then gentle man that runs the course drove back got us a better one.
Course review
Challenging course. Improvements being made to fairways and cart paths.
Bad condition
Back 9 of course is in terrible shape and #10 and 18 were under maintenance and they made them par 3's. This should of been disclosed before accepting tee times especially at $50.
Under repair
Should have been told that they were doing maintenance before booking. 2 par fours were shortened to par 3 because of repairs/maintenance.
Not so Great Eagle
Started back 9 for reasons unknown. Most holes on temporary greens. Front 9 was fine. Generally this course needs serious TLC. Cart paths are like riding a side by side on dirt trails.
So much potential
Not often you say $20 to play a course was too much, but it was too much. Fairways are ehh. 2 par 5s playing as par 3s. Greens were slow and bumpy. No water on course. We quit after 9 holes. Layout of course is actually pretty neat if they invested in maintenance
Fairways
The Fairways were in Poor Condition. #12 & #17 were converted to par 3’s because they are replanting Bermuda. I hope the fairways get fixed
Fun and challenging
I enjoy playing this course year round. I appreciate the rolling terrain that makes some of the holes challenging.
