Great layout with enough challenges to keep the round unterestint

Head 4 buddies in town and we went to play great eagle. Had a tee time at 9 AM and charged us $33 to play. Golf shop closed at 10, restaurant opened at 1, no cart person, no water on the course and pro ship didnt even have ice. Also it was 103 out!! The Bunkers were full of weeds and black sand. How can you NOT have water for people in AZ summers????

Had a buddy who rented clubs and for a set of wal mart wilsons charged him $40.

Wouldnt go here again if you paid me! Worst staff in AZ and by far the worst golf course maybe ever,

Place has gone downhill! Arizona Traditions is 2 min away, have everything including water and ice and rented us brand new Taylor Mades for $6.

Very confusing course, not maintained very well. Minimal money or repairs being done.

Everything is looking pretty good again. Most of the greens were in good shape, without the patches we were seeing a couple months ago. Played slow though. The bunkers on the other hand are either hard as concrete or muddy and wet. No actual sand in them. Stay out of the bunkers and you'll be happy.

No starter this morning so it was back up on the tee box, 4:30 hour round at 6:40am. The course was in a lot better shape then is has been in the past. The greens where soft and tee boxes where cut. The rough was thick so you had to hit the fairways. Overall it wasn’t bad, will definitely play it again when I don’t feel like driving far to play.

Enjoyed the round, the greens were in good condition.

The grass on the Tees was fluffy (too long, like hitting from the rough) hard to judge distances on the par 3's

Make sure you take repellent, it's not sold in the golf shop. The mosquitos were hungry!

The course is in very nice shape. The tee boxes need cutting but not too bad.

Enjoyed the course, there were some bare spots on fairways and greens. Overall in nice shape.

The greens and fairways were patchy. Putting was more like miniature golf as the ball could not go in a straight line (too many patchy areas with uncommon grasses). Standing water everywhere in the fairways.

Very nice staff and course layout is very nice. Only recommendation would be the upkeep of the actual course. For the price; I was expecting better landscape.

We booked this course on line 2 days in advance. The cost was $44 per person in Summer. With a cost that high we were expecting some higher quality amenities. The staff was friendly and attentive but with the hotter temperatures we were expecting to see a beverage cart on the course, we did not. The golf cart we were given was not cleaned from the day before with red soda residue spilled under the basket and it looks as if maintenance had used the cart due to the paint smears on the seats. The carts are in rough shape all-together. Unless the rates are dropped to match the quality of the course and amenities, I will not be returning. It was also frustrating that all the ball washers were bone dry and dirty, there was no water stations to get drinking water from and the cart paths are in very rough shape.

Would appreciate if we where told that the fairways was covered with sand on the back nine Greens was very spotty on the back nine

I've played this course a few times because it is convenient for me. I noticed the price has gone up of late and it appears they are working on improving the fairways. The greens are in pretty good shape and this course will challenge all parts of your game.. Hopefully the improvements will succeed.

Course needs a lot of help, which they are attempting to do. Will play again after changes are made

First hole showed to be a par 5 yet was moved way up to a 130 yard par 3.

This is by far the worst course I have ever seen. This course is under construction on the front 9. The only good thing about this is there are some nice greens. It’s got such a good natural lay out with hills and water. This course should be plowed and have some one reset it. The cart I used didn’t have breaks so any hill I had to be careful on or it would roll away. I can’t even put into words how truly bad this course is. I’m upset at myself for even paying for this course.
