About
Great Eagle Golf Club, rated one of the most affordable golf courses in Arizona, is a championship course in the West Valley. Although it has a traditional design there are several unique and challenging elements that come into play such as undulating mounds that cause uneven lies and well-guarded greens. Water hazards also come into play on four holes. The golf course offers three sets of tee boxes so that there is some flexibility regarding levels of challenge, but overall the course is suitable for any player. The Great Eagle Golf Club, in addition to the course, also offers both a chipping green and a putting green.

Never Again
Don’t waste your money. Poorly maintained, poorly!!!
Disappointment for this time of year
Most greens were in poor condition,
hole 6 or 7 had construction going on in the middle of its fairway.
Not worth the $34 I paid for.
This course has always been my go to winter course because of the value and great condition, but it seems like management does not give a darn about the course this winter.
Horrible course, worst course in AZ
Do not, I repeat do not play this course. Course should not be open to play. Terrible conditions for peak season, I’ve played a lot of golf and never have I been this disappointed in course conditions. Save money and go down the road to Arizona Traditions and play there instead.
Don’t waste you’re time and money
Worst course I’ve played period, will never be back and will not recommend this course to anyone. It’s peak season and the course is in terrible shape. This course needs a complete turn around and needs to be torn down and redone from ground zero. Had good hopes considering Arizona Traditions is the sister course. Do yourself a favor and play Traditions instead. Great Eagle is a 1 out of 5 star at best.
Worst course in AZ, PERIOD
Don’t waste you’re time or money, worst course I’ve played in AZ. I’ve played over 100 rounds of golf and never have I been this disappointed in a course. The entire course needs to be redone, it’s peak season and this course should not be open. Seriously play Arizona Traditions instead, same money and it’s actually worth your time and money. Great Eagle is the ugly sister that nobody wants to be around or talk too. The review is harsh but it’s fair and true.
Standard Round at G.E.
This course continues to disappoint. They had a 4 week stretch where I thought they started caring again. That has come and gone and we are back to regular old Great Eagle. The charge a premium for sub par every aspect of the game.
Carts: 20 years old, shakey, ride rough, and the breaks dont engage. Repeat: THE BREAKS DO NOT ENGAGE.
Cart Path: There is a 90 degree rule because they actually put some effort into the fairways. Only problem is they do not have a cart path. Only a make shift dirt path filled with holes and rocks.
Greens: Frankenstein's Monster
Needs help
front nine is in poor shape. Hole 10 best on course. Back nine better then front nine greens on front nine are very sad.
OK course for the money
The course was in fair shape. Fairways were in good shape, green left a lot to desire. For 18 hole with a cart for $24 it was a good deal.
