About
Arizona Traditions Golf Club offers a parkland style golf course that has panoramic views of the White Tank Mountains. An enhancement project for the course in 1998 put in an abundance of trees, shrubs, and flowers on the course. Although it has a short layout, the golf course is quite challenging with difficult sloped greens and rolling fairways lined with forestry. Rolling hills, extensive greenside and fairway mounding, and water hazards provide an interesting game. Five sets of tee boxes ensure that golfers of all skill levels can enjoy the course. Arizona Traditions Golf Club also has a driving range, chipping area, and putting green for golfers to use.

Always a good day
Another fun round at AZT. The only drawback was a slow pace for the front 9, but things moved much better on the back. The course was in very good condition, and I really appreciated the conditions on the greens, despite the severe sloped areas on some greens, they rolled true and held approach shots well. Always a great bang for the buck.
Great course in Surprise AZ
The course was challenging with some real tough greens! It was a fun day even though we were only able to finish 12 holes before the cold and darkness forced us to stop. The group ahead of us was slow (because of the group ahead of them) so that chewed up a lot of time.
My only beef about this course is they don't send out email confirmations of the tee time... that would be a handy reminder of your time of play.

pin placements
Some pin placements were brutal...please re-think this in the future

Very poorly maintained.
Trenches on the greens that were never properly leveled. All the rough is burned out, almost looks like the desert itself. Course used to be very nice. What happened?

Staff was so helpful and friendly. Unfortunately there was no one controlling the pace of play. Backed up 4 groups at a time at every tee box. Payed for and wanted to play 18 , yet we were only able to get 9 in. It should not take 3 hours to play 9 holes.

Good course but slow pace
Good course but slow pace during twilight hours (after 2pm). It was probably due to the fact that all the duffers (including me!) tee off after 2pm. Seems like lots of time spent looking for mis-struck balls.LOL We only had 3.5 hours to complete 18 holes (sun set at 5:45 that night and only managed to get 13 holes in... what a drag!

Great course in the Surprise AZ area
We loved playing this course. it was challenging and beautiful to see. My only criticism is that they don't send out email confirmations when you book a tee time. I think they send out texts if requested , but since we were from Canada texting didn't work for us. It;s a minnor detail, I know, but would have made things a little easier for us.

The course overall is in good shape and well maintained, the only issue was the pace of play and pin location. The round took us 5 hours to finish. Greens were super quick but nice and pin placement weren’t in the best spots.

Arizona National
Played on a Monday as part of a shotgun start. Pace of play was good. All tee boxes were single teed.
Well worth the costs.
