About
Arizona Traditions Golf Club offers a parkland style golf course that has panoramic views of the White Tank Mountains. An enhancement project for the course in 1998 put in an abundance of trees, shrubs, and flowers on the course. Although it has a short layout, the golf course is quite challenging with difficult sloped greens and rolling fairways lined with forestry. Rolling hills, extensive greenside and fairway mounding, and water hazards provide an interesting game. Five sets of tee boxes ensure that golfers of all skill levels can enjoy the course. Arizona Traditions Golf Club also has a driving range, chipping area, and putting green for golfers to use.

Great course
This was a great course to play on during our stay in Arizona. The greens and fairways were in good shape and the staff were very friendly and helpful!
Putting is very challenging due to the slope of the greens but once you get used to it it’s very satisfying hearing the ball drop into the cup!!! I really enjoyed my round at Arizona Traditions and will definitely go again. We shot a bucket of balls before the game and did some practice putting too and am I glad we did!!!
Beautiful Day on the Course
Ideal weather, friendly starter, enjoyed course layout and holes, condition. It was a 5 hr round, not sure why.
Luckily, we finished before sundown.
We will return during a week day, weekends being the issue of slow play during high season in AZ.

Pace of play awful
Greens below average, fairways good, decent track for high handicap players. The pace of play was dire, if some foursomes hadn’t quit after nine, it would have been a 5.5 hour round

Rude workers!!!
We arrived only 10 minutes before tee time because my friend coming in from Chandler had some traffic issues. We were met by a rude counter lady. Then we hustled to the 8 th tee to find another rude guy who was the Marshal. Our play was fast but got reprimanded 3 times by the Marshal to speed up play because of Men’s group behind us. Garbage. I finally told him to leave us alone and the group behind us were also rude. I will never play this course again!

Play it
This was worth the cost. The pace of play was extremely slow, though it was still an awesome day to partake in the game.

A Gem
When I get the time to go south Arizona Traditions is one of my favorite places. Staff is always friendly and helpful and the food sometimes cooked on the grill outside!
Course conditions have always been great when I have played there. Any level would have a great time playing there.

Pin placement was tough
My main complaint is that many of the pin placements were on the edge of where the green fell away causing your ball to end up several feet if not yards from the pin. The pin placement really slowed down the pace of play as golfers had to take several more strokes before holing their ball.
Nice local course
This is very straight forward course. As fairly typical for a desert course, the tee boxes, fairway and greens were watered and green; while, the rest was dry and brown. A few of the green were marred with what looked like water damage (like a small stream ran through it). Overall, it was a good value, and I enjoyed the round.
Decent greens, below average care
Tee areas were poorly maintained as were all the off fairway areas
