ASU Karsten Golf Course features a Pete and Perry Dye-designed links-style course characterized by design features that challenge, such as Dye's mounding and bunkering - making it important to pick the right golf clubs if you don't want to run up that score. Big-name PGA and LPGA Tour golfers like Phil Mickelson, Billy Mayfair and Grace Park have all played this course.
ASU Karsten Golf Course offers several holes one could call "signature," such as the short par-4 fourth, the tough par-4 ninth, the daunting par-3 16th (248 yards from the tips) and the challenging par-4 final hole. The water on the left side is the reason this is called one of Arizona's most difficult finishers.
After a round at the ASU Karsten Golf Course, check out the 21,000-square-foot Sun Angel Clubhouse, which tempts players with its Southwestern and American fare in the Trophy Room.

Great Pete Dye Classic
Challenging course with Dye's famous railroad ties, lots of bunkers and water. Only two par 5's. Greens still need to fill in a bit more after the overseeding but good speed.

Golf carts were in horrible condition. Multiple cart breakdowns during round. Staff says they have told management about ongoing cart problems, only to fall upon deaf ears. Much too nice of a course to have this experience with old worn out carts, very disappointing
Good value & interesting routing
Turf in good shape, excellent green conditions, true & quick. Course a little noisy but to be expected with freeway and airport nearby. No course marshaling , our foursome was held up for the day by a very slow two some, 5 hr round. No starter!
Still would play the course again.
Favorite Course, played twice and bought a hat.
I played this course in August in the afternoon for super cheap. The staff was awesome, couse was in great shape. There was water on the course to drink!!! I understand that it was a little loud due to jets, traffic etc..however I could not beat the price or the play. I shot the best score of my life there. Im used to playing in pennsylvania so this course was a nice treat!!! Recommended to everyone!!!
Always in great condition
This is one of my favorite courses to play. However I am usually limited to playing it in the Summer months due to the price during prime season.
