Par 3 under construction

I love this courses layout but there was no mention when booking the tee time that one of the par 3s was under construction so they manipulated the tee boxes and created a temp green. That was disappointing. Again no one at the course mentioned it before we teed off. I firmly believe that it is the responsibility of the staff to communicate this information to the golfers before they are surprised by the construction conditions.

Potential

The development looks to have been hindered by the financial crisis and still has never recovered. Neighborhood looks to be getting filled up with new tract homes which should keep play steady and hopefully lead to course improvements. The layout and property are as good as they come but the place needs new greens, bunkers, and rough. Pro-shop is also a mess and appears to be in the midst of a “renovation” that may have lost steam. Fair for the price the scenery is a plus would definitely take this course over some in the region that are in the same price bracket.
