Beautiful course in really good shape. The days of rain did make for some wet fairways but great course. Will definitely make the hour drive to play here again

Course received substantial rain overnight before I played, so a few fairways were pretty soggy and I recommend cart path as much as possible for the next few days at least. Otherwise, the course was in excellent shape as usual.

Be ready, water on every hole, lots of long carries, we’ll designed layout, deceiving doglegs. Best drive of day ended up wet (argh)… would recommend playing, but heed the signs about tee selection and wildlife. We only saw one small gator, but someone found a picture of a very large one dragging a 4 footer (dinner) across a fairway.

Couse was fun. Jill was very nice. Excellent overall experience.

The course is great plenty of room but lots of water on every hole. With all of the rain lately the mosquitoes have increased their population so take bug spray.

About an hours drive from Orlando, this place is set on a lovely island. The staff were friendly, facilities are good and course splendid. The greenkeepers were out mowing as we were playing so there was the odd wispy blades of grass that blighted the fairways and the bunkers need improving, but overall the course looks great. We saw loads of wildlife out on the course too which was nice.

Nothing to complain about really. Its a good course and in pretty good shape

The course was in good shape! My only concern was the cut grass needs to be dispersed with a blower. If you land on a clump of grass does affect your shot. The cut grass was also evident in the 1st cut on the fairways. The easy answer: stay on the fairway and greens!

The course is in beautiful shape. Especially the greens. I hope they can keep it going. I want to bring my friends!

Beautiful course, tee to green in good shape. 4some In front of us playing like snails. Didn’t see any rangers approach them to ask to pick up the pace. Waited a few minutes for every tee shot and approach. Took 4.5 hours. Hit into the group on 18 just out of frustration. Didn’t actually hit anyone just sent a couple drives close by.

It might be a drive to get to the course but it’s worth it.

On a previous trip to the area some local fellas told me I should play this course, this time thru the area from Daytona to Lakeland I stopped in on a Sunday with no t-time on NFL Opening day so not busy. First the young guy in the clubhouse was awesome, fun conversation and found out he is a Marine( I am a Navy Doc) so we spoke the same language. It was a bit past Kick off of the first football game, he said I could get right on the course, then tells me I had to have the cart no later than 5:00, no exceptions so I could only do 9 holes, bummer I came all the way from Virginia and only 9 holes. OK, off I go had the place to myself, had a great time the track was nice, not the best I ever played but real fun and taken care of. Clubhouse, tee boxes, fairways, rough, traps, and greens are very nice, and I even had a nice conversation with one of the neighbors about the best cake he ever had (he shared with me and I agree it was guud). I got back to the clubhouse went in for a drink and to catch the end of the Bucs game, while watching the game with a real cool guy, mentioned I was traveling and what a bummer it was I didn't see the back 9, turned out he is the GM of the place gave me a Dr. Pepper and said get out there and have fun finishing the course. What a deal, I don't want to give away anyone's rule breaking but I have nothing but great things to say about this great place and the people that care for and manage it. Do yourself a favor if you are in the area and love golf, this is a great time, and sometime next September I'll see ya there.
