Fantastic Course, especially for the Money!

Deer Island is a MUST PLAY! The Layout is tough but fair. Water on every hole. Views are outstanding. The staff is super friendly. The course was not crowded either time I've played. Conditions were fantastic (even with it being very hot). Sign at beginning says play one set of tees in front of your normal due to difficulty. They aren't kidding!!! So worth the drive.

One of the best golf experiences of my life

This course is amazing. The layout is challenging, but the views and the conditions are just incredible. My good buddy came down from Dallas and I knew we had to play “the golf course on an island”. My buddy hit a birdie on the 3rd hole which is a gorgeous par 3 that has the entire lake on your right hand side for the next 3 holes.

And…we saw a gator. Golf trip to Florida complete. I will be back to play this course very very often.

Great Shape

The course continues to maintain its quality playability. Traps were a little muddy but to be expected with all the rain. Greens rolled great. Plenty of challenges for the average golfer. And staff always friendly and very helpful. Left my phone in the cart at the return area. Worker ran it into me before I left the property. That's great service.
