Mission Inn Resort & Club - Las Colinas Course
About
Las Colinas is one of two championship golf courses at Mission Inn Resort. It is less challenging than the other course, El Campeon, but both provide enjoyable and unique rounds. Las Colinas sprawls across gently rolling hills with elevation changes that are less startling than those found throughout the older El Campeon course. Twisted oak hammocks and a sprinkling of lush pines accent Las Colinas. The golf course has an inland links layout that boasts wide-open, forgiving fairways and large, receptive greens. There is an interesting variety of risk/reward opportunities as well as a few forced carries. The course has many player-friendly features but its classic architecture does call for a fair amount of accuracy, especially on its signature hole, the par-5 12th. Nicknamed "Alligator Alley," this 493-yard hole features a winding, tree-lined fairway.

Good, but...
I played 8 rounds in 6 days in the Orlando area. Both courses are in great shape, greens are beautiful, but way too slow. Very disappointing. Many other options in the area that area better. Southern Dunes to name one
Great Course but....
2 great courses but greens are way too slow. Won't be back.
Good as usual
The golf course was in great shape. The greens were rolling medium speed and true. The fairways and tee boxes were well manicured. The course can get a little pricey, but if you can get a hot deal on tee off, go for it. You won’t regret it. Bring your a game or you’re golf crying towel, which ever you prefer. You’ll need it.
Great course
This is not my first time playing this course. I always enjoy playing at Mission Inn, The staff is friendly and the course is in good shape all the time.
Tee boxes were slightly in need of repair, But that is due to players not fixing divots. My recommendation for anyone playing either of these courses is to read the greens. What I mean by this is are you going against the grain or with the grain, because that will tell you how you need to putt. Overall, I had a great time playing this course, there was a car girl out and like I said Stock was very friendly. If you get the chance to play here I would definitely recommend it.
Los Colinas
Pick your tees carefully. Mixed white/gold. Would've been better for my group. Whites are what we played. Long par4's are tough. Short par4's challenging. Greens roll fast. Loved it!
Las Colinas
Having played El Campione previously I was looking forward to playing Las Colinas. Glad to say I was not disappointed as it is in no way a second course - every bit as good as each other. Friendly welcome upon arrival and course in great condition. Loved the par 5 12th hole which is a real beauty. Only negatives might be the distances between some holes - though on a lovely day like today it was fine. Will be happy to return for a game at either of the Mission Inn courses and recommend both highly.
Okay
Played Las Colinas… Must be low on staff… course needs a lot of maintenance…. Price is not reflective of course condition.
Fun round at Mission Inn
The only problem was a near 3 hours for second nine due to Florida High School practice rounds, however, it was still a good day!
Relaxed Rounds
We played this course twice in the past few days and enjoyed relaxed rounds with no crowding or rushing. While this course is not up to the level of quality of El Campeon, it is still a good course and is well taken care of. There are some repairs going on, but did not overly affect our play. My wife prefers this course over many others in the area, and yes, she scores very well at Las Colinas. Certainly worth playing!
