Mission Inn Resort & Club - Las Colinas Course
About
Las Colinas is one of two championship golf courses at Mission Inn Resort. It is less challenging than the other course, El Campeon, but both provide enjoyable and unique rounds. Las Colinas sprawls across gently rolling hills with elevation changes that are less startling than those found throughout the older El Campeon course. Twisted oak hammocks and a sprinkling of lush pines accent Las Colinas. The golf course has an inland links layout that boasts wide-open, forgiving fairways and large, receptive greens. There is an interesting variety of risk/reward opportunities as well as a few forced carries. The course has many player-friendly features but its classic architecture does call for a fair amount of accuracy, especially on its signature hole, the par-5 12th. Nicknamed "Alligator Alley," this 493-yard hole features a winding, tree-lined fairway.

Course was in very good condition. Driving range closed for repairs. Once we passed a foursome in front of us, pace was excellent.
Layout is challenging. No short par 3s on this course!
Knickers was very good as well.
I'll definitely be back.
Nice place to play
Our first time to Mission Inn Resort Las Colinas course. First off the box for an early round on Monday. Course
Layout was fun. Greens were a bit long but with all the rain I wasn’t complaining. Staff was great and overall course was in great shape. A bit soft during the rain season but I’m sure it will be great once it dries out. We’ll definitely be back again.
Awesome Course
Awesome course every time we play b there. First class course and staff!!!
Excellent Condition
The course is in great condition from tee to green. Very interesting layout with a variety of challenges. My second time playing the course, have always played El Campion in the past but will play both from now on.
Pitfalls of hot deal
After traveling 90 minutes to play at course again after positive experience one week ago, our round lasted only two holes before sky opened up and drenched us. With forecast not favorable and course very wet, we ventured back to pro shop to seek a rain check but were denied.. “We don’t issue rain checks to GolfNow customers.” After review of Golf Now policy, I am done with it and won’t be booking any more through it
First time
It was our first time playing this course and it didn’t disappoint us! Despite all the rain we have had in the last couple of weeks the course was in awesome shape. A lot of people playing and pace of play was good. From tee to green conditions are excellent. Staff is super friendly! We will definitely return
Mission Inn, Las Colinas was Awesome!
We played the Las Colinas course at Mission Inn, and it was in fantastic shape. My son was down from Alaska and just loved the course. The staff was great and friendly. We'll definitely return!
Soggy but amazing!
First timer! But if it didn't rain,it could not get any better!!!!can't wait to play again! With no ooo rain!!!
Great coursr
Beautiful track. Great conditions. They were punching the greens right after we played so give it a fee weeks
Always amazing
Play every Friday after work. Never anyone before or after us. Course is always well maintained. Greens are perfect and fast.
Two Championship quality courses
Las Colima's is no slouch next to El Campeon. The course is in great shape.
Six Hour Round - Very Disappointing
I have played both courses at Mission Inn Multiple times and always enjoyed it. Yesterday was outrageous. There was a tournament ahead of us which we were not informed about. That in itself would not have been a problem. The concern was that there was no control on the pace of play resulting in a six hour round. There was a Marshall who avoided people, obviously to avoid any conflict. Six hours is not an exaggeration it was the longest round in the history of me playing golf. I will avoid Mission Inn in the future.
Pick Up The Pace!
I live in the area and have played both courses many times. I love the courses and the people that work here are always friendly.
My lesson learned is play during the week. Saturday was a 5 PLUS hour round. No Marshall’s looking after pace of play.
Only one working water fountain on the course and would not of been bad except only saw the beverage cart twice. Once on #1 and the next time was on #14 tee box.
The conditions were fantastic but the pace of play made for a very tough day.
Thank you for your input! We had 2 rangers on Las Colinas and had timed a 4:45 pace. We strive for 4 1/2, but this can be challenging with larger outings on course. Grounds is working on water bubblers and F&B will address the bev cart comment. Hope you return to Mission Inn
Excellent Course. Very Challenging
Our group has played El Campion A few times and I always loved it. Decided to play Las Colinas for a change and also love it. The course conditions from Tee to green of very good. The course is very challenging with a variety of shot placements required. Very enjoyable and an excellent test of golf skills. Just what you would expect from a course that host amateur and professional golf tournaments. We played from the white tees which is just shy of 6400 yards. Next time I think I’ll move up a Tee box Which still plays around 6000 yards.
Call golfnow and they will issue a refund.
