Mission Inn Resort & Club - Las Colinas Course

Fun course can be a bit punishing. 5 hour round. Overall a good course and value. Will play again.

Definitely a must play course. Course is in pretty good shape. Definitely has nice open holes but also has its challenging holes which you can appreciate.

In my opinion both of the full sized courses at Mission Inn are very good. Greens were a little sandy but that happens from time to time. Fairway were excellent as were the tee boxes. If your anywhere near Howie in the Hills its must stop. You wont be disappointed!

Showed up as a single, and was treated like a member at a nice club. Friendly staff, hooked up with another single a played in 3:20. Top course along with El Campion that are must plays in central Florida

It’s Mission Inn. It doesn’t get better in this area. Period.

We had a great time , staff was very friendly and the course was in great condition . We let a 2 some play through and still finished in a little over 4 hours .

These two courses and facility are one of the best around Central Fl. I play these courses 1-2 times a month and they are always in great condition.

I arrived for an early afternoon tee time to find out the course had booked a large outing for 20 teams with a shotgun start an hour before me. I had driven 65 minutes to the course excited to play El Campeon. While checking in I was informed of the outing and it was strongly recommended that I play Los Colinas. I had never played this course and was told it was just as nice. I had played El Campeon several times and really love the course, so I was extremely disappointed not to play the course I wanted to play. I was not the only person to find out while checking in, in fact other guests were as upset as I was. I asked why I was not notified when I booked or why I had not even been called and notified of a potential issue. I also asked for a complimentary lunch or something else for my inconvenience. The woman checking us in was not willing to provide anything to make us somewhat happy and had no explanation for not notifying us in advance. Her only offer was to move us to the other course, and her comment was "it is a cheaper fee for you to play this course". That was not what I wanted to hear, I actually booked the more expensive course for a reason.

While playing the course that "is just as nice" I saw for myself that I would evaluate things differently. Sand traps on several holes had not been raked by the course that day (fertilizer was sitting on top of sand and it was packed down from not being raked in some time). The eighth tee box was in terrible condition with very little grass, the 14th hole has an apron lined with sand in the front. Am I being more critical of a course than normal yes, but I was told it was as nice as El Campeon. I left a message for the pro to share my concern, but received no response.

The course was in great shape the greens were running a little slow

The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The course was in great shape. The course is challenging but is playable for an average golfer as myself & my wife. Pace of play was excellent and with out stress . Best round I have plaid in the past year.
