About
Since the opening of Bent Creek Golf Course in 1989, the 6,420-yard, par-71 course has provided a challenging golf experience for residents of Northeast Florida and visitors alike.
Crafted by renowned architect Bobby Weed with consulting services by Mark McCumber, Bent Creek's meandering terrain takes golfers through a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, towering pines and alongside creeks and swales. The championship layout boasts Bermuda grass greens, plush fairways and a state-of-the-art lighted practice facility - home of the Bent Creek Golf Academy.
From the back tees, Bent Creek carries a rating of 71.6 and a slope of 136. The challenge starts with the first hole, which measures 538 yards from the gold tees, just 20 yards short of No. 15, the longest hole on the golf course.

Golfers who play here need to repair their divots in the fairway.
Power cart can do with new brakes

Bent Creek GC
Always a joy to play Bent Creek! The course was in good shape for this time of year and they have clearly done some work on the tee boxes since I played there in July. Greens were a little slow in spots but were overall in good shape. Good times were had by all!

Water is closer than you think
The greens on the front were slow and bumpy but much better on the back. Allot of loose sod in the wet areas. Friendly staff and enjoyable pace of play!

Bent Creek - Jacksonville
This was an excellent experience the course was in very good shape. The greens were a little sketchy they had recently been aerated but were growing in nicely. The tee boxes and fairways were in excellent condition.
I have not played in a while and found the course challenging but not exasperating. The starter paired me with a local who guided me around the course.
We had a really great time.
The nicest thing - they give you a yardage book that was very helpful. This course is a very good value and a hidden gem here in Jax.

Great day of golf!
Our first time playing this course and it was a terrific find. The course layout is excellent - enough challenging holes to keep us sharp and some straightforward holes. All holes were very interesting with water and hazards in play. The course was in good shape. The back nine greens ran truer than the front which seemed to be recovering from aeration.

Great layout. Greens had been aerated a few weeks ago so they were somewhat inconsistent but playable. could have used more sand and rolled again.
