Grand Cypress - North/South

I played the East/North courses - and it was a lot of fun. Both courses were in great shape and offered challenges and scenery. Staff was friendly and the facilities were nice. No GPS on carts, no starter to get you out, no cooler on the carts - but overall a good experience.

One of the best courses I have play, in my top ten

I am visiting from New Orleans and decided on getting a round in before I returned home. My son suggested we play at the Grand Cypress and I was impressed with the friendly people that worked there as well as the condission of the course. It took four hours to play 18 on a Saturday and the cart lady was always there when we were ready for another one.

I plan to return in a month so I can play their "new course" and I am sure it will also be enjoyable.

Such a beautiful and well kept course. Could have used a GPS on the cart but understand that it could get tricky with all the different courses. Don't let Ed (the starter) put u off from having a great time. Very rude!

I have played this venue in the past and each time all areas of the coarse have been 90% or above. I enjoy this highly challenging coarse and will continue to play here as often as I can. Thanks Grand Cypress for your attention to detail.

Was great but it would have been usefully to know we were playing the East course twice due to a big outing on the North and South. The East is my least favorite but it still was great.

I have been playing the various courses at Grand Cypress for many years. In the recent past, it was beginning to show the need for some TLC. Well, it got it.

The condition was back to where it was when the course was nearly private. The greens were in great shape even though they had had a light punch just a few days ago. The fairways were manicured and the tee boxes couldn't have been better.

As always the staff was friendly and helpful and the overall experience was first class. If you can, go play this gem of a resort.

Played this course yesterday great course would play again for sure. Played the nirth/south combo from the blues and it is very tough but fair. Course was in excellent shape. One of the best courses I have ever played.

I am worried about writing such a great review as it will encourage many more golfers to book a tee time. But the course is such a great place to play and tests all your shots from tee to green. The rate of play was also very good, less than 4 1/2 hours.
We play many local courses and these must be the best and quickest greens we encounter.
Must not forget the wonderful club house and all the staff who have given us such a great day. Will be back very soon.

I feel remiss I have not played Grand Cypress since I moved to Central Florida 4 years ago. The course was challenging, fun, and well kept. Got a great deal on GolfNow. I look forward to playing again soon.

We played twice the East as there was a big tournament going on. Course conditions were OK, even though I have played on better greens here already (!). The pace was rather very slow, there was no assistant out there – we saw him the first time on our 17th hole. He apologized, telling us that he is alone there for 45 holes… I recon, this is not player’s problem, but the management of the course should have it better organized, while a tournament is going on…
As we had a very good hot deal, thanks to Golfnow, it was OK, but I have had much better rounds here. But the dinner at the clubhouse was great as always!

Great course in great condition. Add this to your list of must plays.

Played the course after hearing a lot about it over the years.
Nice course from the tips. The greens weren't as good as I expected. I got a good deal so I wasn't too bothered about that.
Would not pay more than $40 to play.

I enjoyed the course from the back tees. The greens weren't as nice as I would have expected. The rest of the course is fine.

Our threesome played the North/South combination and it was our first visit. The course is in excellent condition from tee to green. Although the fairways are generous, well placed bunkers and some water add to the challenge. The greens are quite undulating but very fair and rolled wonderfully. We finished with a drink and something to eat at the 19th and the food was excellent and the staff very friendly. This is a definite must play if you are in the area.

Really pleased with this course, set in a beautiful setting the course offers a variety of challenges depending on the tees used. Whole course well manicured, bunkers and some water strategically placed but not too many. Will definitely play again.
