River Bend Golf Club

The cart paths are horrendous and so bumpy if you have a bad back, watch out!

Have played there a few times.The course needs work. The condition of the course has gone downhill and the staff needs to refocus on customer service. Other than the bartender,the staff was not friendly or welcoming at all. Maybe they treat members better but non-members were treated as an inconvenience.

Nice course,friendly bag drop guy, the starter was a grouch, it didn’t impact my round. The course is challenging and fun to play, I will return

Great course for the price. Love the layout,. Have to play smart golf and not just swing a club. The food in bar was pretty good as well

We enjoyed playing this course. Some challenges if you do not keep the ball in the fairway. Pretty layout. Really nice staff, and clubhouse restaurant food was good. Our only negative is that the cart paths are only partially paved. It made the cart ride rough in many spots. Also our foursome had difficulty finding the path to the 18th hole. The sign was back before the green and we got turned around and headed to the wrong hole. Good value especially with our hot deal price.

I love the River Bend and play it 30 times a year, HOWEVER they drilled the greens last week and the two putt rule should be in effect. I'll be back mid June when the greens heal.

I don't live very far (one exit) from River Bend but i have avoided it for a few years now because of the poor condition of the greens. To my surprise, the greens have been improved so much that I will play there now. They used to be terrible and unplayable. Improvement is evident although there are still crusty spots on some of the greens. back nine is harder than the front but enjoyable. pleasantly surprised and I will return as lone as the greens are in decent condition. Cart paths are another matter (be very careful).

The staff all around were excellent and the deal at golf now couldn't be beat. They need to level off the t boxes and work on the cart paths. There was also very little sand in the traps. On some greens there was alot of sand on them. It seems that they are working on the course. I would have rated it higher if these things were taken care of. Some interesting holes but mainly straightforward

Greens were medium speed but true and consistent.

Only down side would be shallow traps, more Sand in them! Unfortunately I was in then alot.

The course had been over seeded or I would have given conditions higher. One of my favorite golf courses. Would recommend this course

Have played River Bend many, many times and really enjoy the course. Unlike some courses in the area that we've played lately, River Bend's greens (although I believe they were overseeded recently) aren't suffering from diseases and/or lack of water. Great rate through Golf Now for a "hot deal." The fairways are in super playing shape too!!
