The 18-hole River Bend Golf Club in Ormond Beach, FL is a semi-private golf course that opened in 1990. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels.
At River Bend, designer Lloyd Clifton achieved his ultimate goal -- a perfect blend of natural surroundings combined with a competitive and scenic golf course layout. With no home sites, River Bend is situated along the historic Tomoka River. Play among majestic oaks, red cedars, pines and magnolias. Each hole is unique. Hole No. 8 is a long par 5, 616 yards. Hole No. 17 is a picturesque 3 par. No water is featured. A definite must for those who enjoy a blend of competitive golf and nature's offerings.

Love the people and course but
right now, the greens are horrible. I realize that aeration just took place but there are big holes and spots of disease all over the greens. Putting is quite difficult to say the least. However, it is hard to beat the price of $25 but I'll wait three or four weeks to go back.
Fun traveling from hole to hole
Course was being artifices, we knew it before playing, but the discount was so good we sacrificed good putting for fun off road experience as we travelled from hole to hole
It's been a while
It has been over 20 years since I have made it over to this great trek and I have no idea why. I forgot how absolutely beautiful River Bend is. The course winds throughout the woods near the Tomoka River. For the most part no houses on the course and you rarely see another hole from the hole you are currently playing.
I would have given the conditions a 5 if it weren't for the fact they had just aerated the greens which still weren't too awful.
I will definitely be back again soon.

Nice course terrible cart paths probably worst I've seen
Great Course
Great course, fun to play. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate...got rained out.
Surprisingly Good
Heard this course was good, but pleasantly surprised at how good it turned out to be. Nice fairways and greens. Some cart paths are a bit rough making for a bumpy ride. Beautiful setting and lots of tropical vegetation. Greens ran true. Lovely’s experience.
Course was a little tight and condition a little rough. Very friendly staff.

Great layout in pretty good shape and a 4 hour pace. Cart payhs are brutal...my back hurt after the round.

Great course in great conditions. Good from tee to green, little slow pace on front nine. Cart paths very bumpy
Very nice course
This course was a pleasant surprise. The layout was fun, especially having no water hazards like many courses in the area have. The fun hole was the 600 yard par 5. The other holes were nice because of the fairway and green trap locations. The course condition was very good from the tee box to the greens. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue was the rough cart path, but given the rest it was a minor issue.
Good course, friendly staff
River Bend has been in good shape with smooth, good rolling greens. It provides a variety of holes and is a challenging yet fair test of golf. The pace of play recently has been SLOW which detracts from the enjoyment of the round. Staff is very nice.

This place a a big surprise. It was a very good course. Well kept and challenging.
Fun layout, great greens
I played here all three days this weekend. The course is in great shape for this time of year and the greens are rolling true. The pace of play is usually good here and the staff is always friendly.
Nice
Second time playing here. Weather was cold and windy. Course is less well groomed than some in the area and has a more municipal feel to it but is ok to play. Layout is nice, greens slow.
