The 18-hole River Bend Golf Club in Ormond Beach, FL is a semi-private golf course that opened in 1990. At River Bend, designer Lloyd Clifton achieved his ultimate goal -- a perfect blend of natural surroundings combined with a competitive and scenic golf course layout. With no home sites, River Bend is situated along the historic Tomoka River. Play among majestic oaks, red cedars, pines and magnolias. Each hole is unique. Hole No. 8 is a long par 5, 616 yards. Hole No. 17 is a picturesque 3 par. No water is featured. A definite must for those who enjoy a blend of competitive golf and nature's offerings.

Great Gem if a Course !
Love the fun but challenging layout! Staff are so welcoming and friendly! Great neighborhood course !
NIce course
I really like this course, but difficult to make tee times and a little pricey compared to other courses in the area.
Great layout. Every hole gives a different look.
18 holes of varied challenges. Easy or difficult depending on tee box. A fun course.

The day was ok, I was not disappointed but I feel some of the reviews are a bit generous.

Played here several times and enjoy the layout of this course. Course friendly for all levels of golfers.

they are trying to dry the course pumps were going but in general very playable always nice greens. a few more dry days those wet spots had the greenest grass very nice looking.
First Round of Our Winter Escape
We stopped in Ormond Beach on our way south and
have played River Bend in the past. The gentleman who took our clubs was friendly and helpful. The staff inside were cordial. The starter Graham was outstanding as he was friendly, helpful with course conditions and pace of play for the day. We didn't stop in the clubhouse as it was closed when our round was complete.
If we find ourselves in the area in September we will definitely play a round on this course.
Love this place
Great location out in woods with a somewhat challenging layout and a really friendly staff. It gets crowded during the winter but the summer is great to play at a nice pace of place.
Nice Layout Starter was nice and Informative
Beautiful day fairways were pretty nice I thought the grass on fairways was a little sparse or thin. The course offered a lot of different views some shots almost seemed like a different golf course. The greens were consistent but a bit slow and fuzzy for my taste. Nice pro shop and counter help. Overall a nice golf course. Good Burger! Look forward to my next round.
Love this course
We play this course once a week 9 holes and it is perfect for us, I mean me and my three buddies, we would recommend riverbend to anyone love the layout and the greens. Cart paths paths need some help and the bridge to hole 4 needs some help but over all love the it

Love This course . Especially how different the back 9 is from the front 9 . Fun layout!!! Looking forward to being back in January to play ! Great friendly staff !

Each hole offers a different challenge. Well designed course.
Friendly course, golf carts challenging
It was a delightful day for our Saturday threesome. Fairways in good to excellent condition, greens a little fuzzy for the winter but rolled true; not bumpy at all. Bunkers were exceptional and nicely maintained.
8th hole, par 5, a little on the odd side - 495 from the forward tees. "Just keep hitting it, I guess."
Golf carts are gas powered. Jerky starts and stops and consequently unpaved cart paths and some parts of fairways VERY bumpy.
Florida Golf
This has always been one of my favorite layouts. Being from N.Y. it kind of resembles some of my favorite N.Y. courses. Considering all the rain this area has had this year the course was in pretty good condition. Only a few wet spots in low lying areas. Greens were in good shape and rolled really well. This course will test your skill level without being overly difficult. After your round they have a very nice club house with a good restaurant. All in all, this is a great place to play golf if you are in the Ormond Beach area.

Last time I played, if my ball went so much as 2 inches off of the fairway, it was in tanic acid water, black as oil, kissing my ball good bye. You're either in the fairway, or have lost your ball. No in between.
