Twin Rivers Golf Club
About
At Twin Rivers Golf Club experience a course that combines the natural beauty of Florida with a consistent test of shot-making abilities. Nestled between two rivers this golf club offers eighteen unique and challenging holes surrounded by environmentally protected areas.
The fairways are well defined, and the greens, surrounded by mounds and pairs or trios of large bloomy bunkers, provide ample targets. Most holes encourage the player to favor one side of the fairway or green over the other, steering away from large and obvious hazards such as lakes, trees, or the large, flat bunkers.
All of this adds up to a very nice and playable course that tips out at only 6,636 yards and thus, due particularly to the price, is a first page recommendation for those seeking public golf in Orlando.

Twin Rivers -- Better Greens to Achieve Better Ratings
TR is convenient location & Thanx to GN Hot Deals for a reasonable rate, but greens were pretty poor this day. They were slow & bumpy, with pit-marks (not from ball pitch marks, but maybe some disease).. Course is tight, so bring your straight & long shots off the tees. One-putts were a matter of Luck, so GiRs or good chips were necessary for this short hitter. No bunny hops (soft in front of most greens), so hit carry-shots or Xtra club. Sand bunkers better than I remember, if only players would remember to rake their diggings. Staff is nice; this day had a cart girl, who was attentive, but held up play some as she would catch a group in middle of fairway. Once the putting surfaces become smooth, I will rerate my reviews.
give it a chance
this course fell into disrepair until it was taken over by the local municipality, they’re only a few months into renovations, greens are sketchy, front nine is better than the back. a few tees need graded. this is a good layout, think your way around, put the driver back in the bag on all but a few holes.
Twin rivers
Golf course was in great condition only wish we had been paired up with somebody else
Twin rivers
Course was in great shape just paired up with some egotistical young men
Great layout put way overpriced for for conditions
Fairways are probably the best in the county. Greens are horrible with holes from dug out weeds, sanded but no way to make a putt - ever. Greens were also inconsistent. For a county owned course, you'd think they'd do better. Tee boxes are like upside down bowls - no even lie to tee from - they are just terrible. Layout is moderately challenging and we enjoyed the fairways. But a good lie in the fairway is ruined by a great shot to the green with no chance to make the putt. Will not be back until there are improvements. Only good thing with the round is we got a hot deal and did not pay the stupidly high rate the course was charging for the conditions. Staff is great. Carts need to be replaced as some are almost dangerous to drive/ride in.
Stoneybrook East
Really poor tee boxes and greens
Fairways and ruff were good
Twin Rivers
Still need more time playing golf after a week in the hospital with pneumonia but still had a good time
Horrible conditions and rude staff
Wet fairways, over ground crab grass In rough areas which look like they have not been cut in weeks. Mud pits around greens. Bunkers have standing water in them. Greens are the worst in Central Florida I'm sure. Ball bouncing all over the place due to all the pot holes. The greens are simply unplayable. On top of it they have a Ranger driving around being obnoxious if u drive 1 ft off a cart bath and park in the over ground weeds. Just bad
Twin Rivers has been in better shape previously
Rough had not been mowed in a week. Greens had to be two on the Sitimpmeter. There were areas around some of the greens that looked like they had been shelled with a howitzer. The rough was so bad that we watched one drive trickle off the fairway and we could not find it...and the ball could have been two feet off the fairway.
Disappointing.
Needs a lot of work
Great layout. Having said that the conditions were poor at best. Every other bunker was either weeds or packed dirt. Greens were the worst I’ve ever played in Florida. They had divots that were all dead grass, not repaired, and seems they hadn’t been rolled in over a year. The course just seemed very unkept. I would not go back and pay 67$for this. I should have my golf now fee refunded at the least.

Greens need some love
Course has the best layout and challenge in the area not even a question. Tee boxes and fairways were in good shape but the greens were not . Seems like they all had the same fungus going on. It was surprising cause they are usually in good shape. I am sure they will be back to normal soon.
Good fairways, horrible greens.
Course was poorly maintained. Fairways were kept nicely. All of the greens were absolutely horrible. All the greens were diseased and had an incredible amount of bare spots. Better off leaving your putter at home because you can’t use it here. Waaaaaaayyyy over priced for its condition. Don’t recommend coming here.
$60 round for these greens is a joke
Can’t believe they are charging $60 round for the conditions the greens are in. Absolutely atrocious. Needs to be a major discount/disclaimer prior to booking. Not coming back.
I always a 6 hour round
It’s a shame this course is so poorly managed, I live right right the corner and refuse to play here ever again. Showed up at 7am for my 7:32 tee time on a Sunday and there were 12+ carts 24+ people backed up on the first tee. First tee time of the day is 7 so there shouldn’t have been more than 12 people or 3 groups in front of us. The starter confirmed “these 20+ guys play tournament every Sunday morning and putt everything out”. I asked why they don’t block off the first hour and he shrugged is dismay. They were nice enough to give me my money back because I refuse to play a 6 hour round when I have the third tee time of the day. Manage your course better, this is ridiculous you’re going to set the pace back for the whole day first thing in the morning.
Every time I play here there’s groups backed up on #1. Members think they own the place and can tee off whenever they want.
What happened?
This course used to be one of the nicest courses in the area. Now it’s apparent that it is in decline. All 18 greens have hundreds of circular dead patches across their entirety. It’s impossible to putt without the ball changing directions. Each tee box was mostly dirt and several were crowned providing no flat spot to tee off. If the tee box had grass, it was not mowed. The fairways were patchy and and piles of grass clippings scattered about. The range was closed due to recent rain.
I would not pay full price to golf at Twin Rivers.
