Twin Rivers Golf Club
About
At Twin Rivers Golf Club experience a course that combines the natural beauty of Florida with a consistent test of shot-making abilities. Nestled between two rivers this golf club offers eighteen unique and challenging holes surrounded by environmentally protected areas.
The fairways are well defined, and the greens, surrounded by mounds and pairs or trios of large bloomy bunkers, provide ample targets. Most holes encourage the player to favor one side of the fairway or green over the other, steering away from large and obvious hazards such as lakes, trees, or the large, flat bunkers.
All of this adds up to a very nice and playable course that tips out at only 6,636 yards and thus, due particularly to the price, is a first page recommendation for those seeking public golf in Orlando.

Great day, rough greens
The staff and course lay out was great, however the greens were so rough that putting was nearly impossible. Definitely suggest playing with a two putt rule.
Nice layout, HORRIBLE course conditions
Despite the reasonable greens fee ($65 hot deal) and interesting layout, play was destroyed by the slow play (yes, it was a Saturday) and the terrible condition of the tees, fairways and greens. Specifically, tees were torn up with divots and crowned, it was a struggle to find grass on the fairways, and the greens were literally unputtable. I’ve putted on fairways which were smoother and truer. I would be shocked if this course has a greens keeper on its payroll. If it does, he/she should be sent back to the farm. Even the carts were poor: steering was loose and breaks didn’t work.
Regarding pace of play, the course was full but a 5 1/2 round is unacceptable regardless of the day of week. We did see a ranger - once - but he appeared to be no more than a sightseer.
Finally, I am shocked and unhappy that GolfNow has rated this course with 3 1/2 stars. Either GolfNow’s ratings can’t be trusted or comments are being “shilled” in order to bolster this course’s rating.
I wouldn’t play Twin Rivers again if they paid me to do so.
TR
Greens need a lot of work the price needs to be lowered because the greens are terrible.
Abysmal Greens
Where the greens were not bare, clumps of weeds peppered the green. Putting experience was intolerable.
Greens are in awful shape
Overall, the course is well maintained, but the greens are a nightmare. They seem to consist of two different grasses, one of which is dead and therefore lightning fast, and the other, situated mostly around the edges, grows little plugs in the other grass, giving the green a bumper pool effect. Also, there are no ball washers on any hole, and the only bathrooms are in the clubhouse, which is not convenient even between the front and back 9. All in all, there are more enjoyable courses in the area for the same money.
Greens are not good at all
The people seemed friendly enough, the fairways and rough was in good shape, the greens were awful and were extremely overrun by weeds on some holes. This needs to be fixed or become a cheaper course for the price paid.
Nice Course, but....
Very nice course. Greens were fair, and incredibly fast. It appeared the greens were painted a dark green. I think they would roll about 12 on the stimp meter. The most unique aspect, and the most fun, was the driving range being a lake. You can get all your water balls out of your system before you play! As a matter of fact, I played with only one ball all day, even though there was water on almost every hole.
Only missing cows
Greens terrible, invasive grasses everywhere, not a pleasure to play.
Too pricey for what you get
Greens are in terrible condition. Fairways are hard as a rock. Bunkers were redone and are decent. Pace was too slow. I won't come back until the planned renewal.
Awful
Pace of play was the only good thing about this course awful tee boxes bad fairways and literally the worst greens I’ve ever putt on I’ve never seen worse greens I was in a hurry to try to finish these 18 holes I’ll never play here again complete rip off
Poor maintenance has caught up with this course
I've played this course many times and this was the poorest shape ever, The tee boxeswer okay, fairways thin and brown, bunkers terrible, greens had almost no grass and lots of disease. They had no carts available and the starter told me they had 14 down for maintenance. The restaurant had good drinks and was the best thing of nthe day. I wouldn't play jhere again until they improve.
Nice layout, horrible greens
I'll say I really enjoyed the layout of the course and you better have your tee shots on point or it'll be a rough round. Tee boxes and traps were excellent, fairways were decent enough not great. The problem was the greens, only 1 single hole had full grass for the surface, the rest had patches of grass, hard dirt and weeds. I'd play this course again when reviewers leave comments on improved greens.
Some of the worst greens I’ve ever played.
We only finished 14 holes because we ran out of time. The golf cart batteries died before we could get back to the clubhouse and when I turned it in, the guy said they had several that was turned in that way everyday.
Fell off the face of the earth
Used to be a good course but the greens are possibly the worst I’ve seen in Orlando. Good luck making a putt outside of 10 feet without the ball hitting a divot or grass patch.
