Twin Rivers Golf Club
About
At Twin Rivers Golf Club experience a course that combines the natural beauty of Florida with a consistent test of shot-making abilities. Nestled between two rivers this golf club offers eighteen unique and challenging holes surrounded by environmentally protected areas.
The fairways are well defined, and the greens, surrounded by mounds and pairs or trios of large bloomy bunkers, provide ample targets. Most holes encourage the player to favor one side of the fairway or green over the other, steering away from large and obvious hazards such as lakes, trees, or the large, flat bunkers.
All of this adds up to a very nice and playable course that tips out at only 6,636 yards and thus, due particularly to the price, is a first page recommendation for those seeking public golf in Orlando.

Very difficult
This is a nice course… very difficult ….water to carry ….jungles on the edges of the Fairways. I live close by and only play a few times a year because it usually beats me up pretty bad ….yesterday I think I broke 100 for the first time with four pars, that’s how tough it is at least for me and I’m normally a mid 90s golfer almost anywhere I go…. so not for beginners …no offense probably not for short hitting people …Worth checking out. You probably won’t like it.
Need a cart out on the course, especially when you have temps in 90's, people need hydration no matter what the beverage of choice. Thats why you should allow a cooler for water, gatorade etc. Golf is great but not worth me having a heat induced stroke.
Not Great
I've played Twin Rivers several times before and have to say this was the worst condition I've encountered. The fairways were good, but the greens were very sandy. Maybe they were recently aerated, but that should be made public knowledge. Many of the bunkers had puddles in them and not nearly enough sand. Basically they were like hard mud.
As I said earlier, I've enjoyed playing this course in the past. I'm going to chalk this outing to bad timing, as far as the condition of the course.
Greens are sand
Greens on the front nine are basically sand traps. My friend and I stopped putting and just picked up the ball when we got to the greens. Everything else is ok.
Not like last time
The greens were slow and bumpy. Had to hit a 10 foot putt like it was a 20 footer. The cups hadn’t been cut in weeks. It was like playing Plinko on The price is right. The greens are normally quick and nice to putt. But not yesterday. Extremely disappointing. Won’t be going back until the greens are good.
The course is okay.
Was only able to play back 9 due to the front 9 being aerated. Which is completely fine, but they booked the back 9 like it was 18. Was constantly getting pushed by the people behind when we would have to wait for the group in front to go. The course ranger mentioned something to us a couple times about hurrying up. But we were moving with the pace of the group in front. We could only move so fast. Not the most pleasant round i’ve played.
Front 9 were closed and I didn’t know had to play back 9 twice but it was a lot of fun
Greens aerated
For the price and the pace, I would call this a good value course. The greens are currently aerated, so putting is very challenging, and I was a little disappointed that some of the traps were packed by the rain. Overall, the layouts challenging with a lot of water And some tight spots off the Teebox and approaches. I’ll play this again for a hot deal price.
Someone needs to be fired
What a shame this course has become…the greens are pitiful at best…you can’t allow nut grass to take over greens before reacting to it…the grounds supervisor needs to be replaced…the city of Oviedo needs to pay closer attention to their golf course…
Twin Rivers
Had to play the back nine twice because they were aireating the front nine
Oviedo's best
Got a great rate on golf now. Greens were being punched on the front 9. Played back 9 twice which made pace of play horrible. Juniors, Members and scheduled tee times all occurring on 9 holes, no forewarning.
Fun, challenging course
I wasn’t aware the front 9 would be closed down due to aeration. It’s not a big deal because the deal price was well worth only being able to hit the back 9. It’s a real challenging course so if you’re newer make sure you bring extra balls because those tree lines will take them up. The course itself was in good shape and easy on the eyes.
Twin Rivers
The greens at Twin Rivers absolutely suck. It was putting on the surface of the moon. The tee boxes are crowned. The fair ways looked a like well groomed cow pasture. WAY OVER PRICED. They even charge you for ice in restaurant. Don’t wanted your time or money. Not worth it.
Hidden Gem
I want to say this course is bad so I can keep it to myself but can’t because they are nailing it! The course is busy but in great condition. The staff and fellow golfers are nice and courteous. There is beautiful nature surrounding many holes and water strategically placed to make challenging conditions. Not much elevation change but a fun day is guaranteed.
