Twin Rivers Golf Club
About
At Twin Rivers Golf Club experience a course that combines the natural beauty of Florida with a consistent test of shot-making abilities. Nestled between two rivers this golf club offers eighteen unique and challenging holes surrounded by environmentally protected areas.
The fairways are well defined, and the greens, surrounded by mounds and pairs or trios of large bloomy bunkers, provide ample targets. Most holes encourage the player to favor one side of the fairway or green over the other, steering away from large and obvious hazards such as lakes, trees, or the large, flat bunkers.
All of this adds up to a very nice and playable course that tips out at only 6,636 yards and thus, due particularly to the price, is a first page recommendation for those seeking public golf in Orlando.

Great course that will challenge
I play Twin Rivers more than any other course in the area for a reason. It is in very good shape, especially the greens, and it is a real challenge. If you don't control your ball all day, you will pay for it! The other thing I like is the variety of holes. All are unique so you will hit every club in your bag.
tough challenge
It's a tough course normally and even harder when it's wet. Playing with cart path only also makes for a long tough day in the heat.
Great Golf course.
Surprisingly longer than thought, fantastic layout and quick pace. Perfect conditions and great value. Will play again when deals pop up and highly recommend.
Nice shape but poor course management..
This course is in good shape but unfortunately no one monitors the pace of play. This results in 5 hour rounds on the weekend.
The "honor system" for pace of play just doesn't work. There has to be some monitoring of pace of play.
Also, setting tough pins on slopes for Saturday/Sunday is a recipe for disaster.
Its a nice course and if you play on a weekday you will like it. 140 slope so mid to high handicappers should play white tees.
Except slow very slow play
Course would be fun to play if the pace of play was not so very slow. Not sure what the rangers do? What they do lot do is police slow play. They actively endorse groups of five which promotes slow play.
Slow
The first cut of the course is terrible. You have to have a sharp eye to see where you ball landed or ended up is you rolled off the fairway. The greens were much better than in the past. The cost for the round was very reasonable….maybe because of the first cut. There were a couple or foursomes in front of us which were very, very slow. I know not everyone picks up when within a foot or so from the flag, but when missing, and even closer, you can pick up rather than double or triple boogie. And, this was with each player. I’m not trying to be a golf snob, but it’s a public course and play should move along. If there is a tournament, other guests should have the option of going off the back nine of get in front of them. The course is challenging, in itself, without being slowed downed to keep a good pace of play.
A little wet but got to play before the rain
Course had quite a bit of standing water but we got to play all 18. Great place close to home for us to play. We’ll be back.
Cart Path
Overall, the course has come back to where it was 15 years ago. The issue is that this is July, the dog days of summer. Although a holiday weekend, the course wasn't full, and they should be discounting the round if you cart path only. The manager of the course does a poor job of getting his staff to move folders, and they overlook tee times most weekends. Since the city bought the property, the course is in better shape. However pace of play continues to be an issue. Not sure if the management reads any reviews or cares
very playable
In good shape, greens good, a few tee boxes needing work, pace was good..it was a Monday. Never easy, love the layout.
Twin Rivers
Played here several months ago and the course really improved tremendously. Greens were fantastic in comparison
