Twin Rivers Golf Club

About
At Twin Rivers Golf Club experience a course that combines the natural beauty of Florida with a consistent test of shot-making abilities. Nestled between two rivers this golf club offers eighteen unique and challenging holes surrounded by environmentally protected areas.
The fairways are well defined, and the greens, surrounded by mounds and pairs or trios of large bloomy bunkers, provide ample targets. Most holes encourage the player to favor one side of the fairway or green over the other, steering away from large and obvious hazards such as lakes, trees, or the large, flat bunkers.
All of this adds up to a very nice and playable course that tips out at only 6,636 yards and thus, due particularly to the price, is a first page recommendation for those seeking public golf in Orlando.

Greatly improved
The course is in much better shape than earlier this year. The new greens have come back great, very firm and fast now. Fairways were in the best shape in years.
Pace of Play!!
Course in great shape unfortunately the pace of play not after hole #5 we have to wait in every tee because there was a group of 5 with 2 of their girlfriends slowing the course some of them hitting 2+ balls from tee or fairways completely unacceptable! We did call clubhouse so they can assist ranger did came nothing was done or improved. There’s no reason to let play more than a foursome specially on a Sunday no excuses management (Starters) need to address this ASAP no exemptions
So much better!
I had last played the course a year ago and was not impressed. The difference this time was night and day! Greens were perfect and fast, fairways and tee boxes much improved! Layout has always being great! This is one of the best values in the area now! Will be coming back routinely.
Great come back
Twin Rivers always has a nice layout but recent renovations have course in nice shape both greens and fairways. This is especially good to see since this is winter golf in Florida.
I did not eat in clubhouse restaurant but I have heard positive comments deom people.
Twin Rivers
everything was fine. I know the course is still getting some renos done. My only advise is a course that's still a work in progress the price was kind of high. Staff super friendly. Food was okie. The bartender girl was cute TMI I know but she was able to get what I wanted very quickly.
Harassment, harassment, harassment
Went to the course as a single and got paired with 3 other gentlemen. On the very first hole a ranger drove up to us and asked that we pick up the pace. Apparently there were a group of women behind us who he didn’t want to see upset with slow play. The problem is that we were not slow. We played the front in just under 2 hours and did the same on the back. However, this ranger still felt it necessary to harass us at least 5 more times. When he wasn’t telling us to pick up the pace, he was parked on the hole we were playing watching us. Needless to say his actions ruined the fun of the round. While I loved the course, I’d hesitate to ever go back.
Very Challenging
Great challenge
Hour delay due to frost and club had an outing that caused us to be delayed for about an hour.
Course was in great shape compared to a Disney course we had played a day earlier.
Confused
First and foremost, the course is in great condition after renovations. Tee boxes are finally level and will be in good shape come spring/summer. The greens are hard and should soften with rain.
Now for the bad:
It seems as if I run into an issue every time I give this place another chance. The range has been closed “due to rain” for four days now - after months of drought. However, they continue to give private lessons and allow UCF to use their portion. If it’s an issue with retrieving balls, fix it the drainage even though there has been no standing water. If the range surface is soft and deemed not ready for use, players shouldn’t see private instruction if they themselves cannot properly warm up before a round.
The closed notice should be posted on the website, Golf Now, and or Facebook, and not solely on the pro shop door.
We teed off and still had did not have a cart ready for us.
Pace of play was 3 hours on the front nine. Our foursome waited on every tee, fairway, and green. We could not get into a groove and found ourselves constantly waiting. This is unacceptable, even for a Sunday. Marshals drove around but did not enforce pace. This isn’t California - a round should not last over 4.5 hours.
It’s a shame that this is one of the nicest courses in the area and they cannot figure these consistent issues out.
I will continue to practice at north shore or Orange County national and look to play elsewhere.
Forgotten gem
Haven't played this course in about 3 years since I live near downtown. The other person I played with lives near Twin Rivers so I made the 30 minute drive. Forgot just how nice this course is. The course was in great shape, just a couple tee boxes were a little thin but not a deal breaker. Love the layout along with the natural scenery.
Will definitely be back...
Mr
Golf course was in great shape and the pace was very good. It was the first time playing the course and I will be back. Great golf venue.
Twin Rivers
It is evident that ownership is putting money into the course, it has come a long way from a year ago when it was pretty bad. Greens are good & FAST. Some tee boxes need some TLC, but considering the former condition of the course, its come a long way. Hopefully they continue to work on making it better.
Twin River Thursday
Excellent course conditions for this time of year.
Much improved!
Twin Rivers is back. New greens are great. Fairways were great. Greens were lightning fast. A few tee boxes were rough but were being improved. Quality shots are required to score well. I recommend this course for all levels.
Twin Rivers: A Frustrating Round
Twin Rivers Golf Club in Oviedo, while boasting a beautiful course, has a serious problem with pace of play. Recent visits have been marred by excessive delays, with groups waiting for extended periods on the tee box. This is particularly frustrating for golfers who have limited time to play.
It's disappointing that the front office's response to these complaints has been inadequate. While they acknowledge the issue, their solutions seem ineffective. A more proactive approach, such as stricter tee time enforcement and a more vigilant course marshal, is necessary to improve the overall experience.
If you're considering playing at Twin Rivers, be prepared for potential delays. Until the management takes decisive action to address the pace of play issue, it's advisable to temper your expectations.
