The course layout is excellent, and considering the hot/dry weather we've had, the fairways were in excellent shape. The only downer was that the greens had been recently punched, and putty was brutal.

Honest about aerating
I booked it through golf now and there was a course alert but when I called and asked if the course was in good condition. They said the course alert was because whole 19 through 28 were not available. Nobody said anything about the fact that they had just aerated and it was like putting on a plinko board. Most courses usually offer a discount when they're aerating, but it was still $125.
Also, there was a couple that was really slow in front of us. The Marshall came by and actually told us that it was a couple of members that they talked to all the time but apparently don't seem to speed them up.
I like this course. I think it's one of the best in Sarasota and I definitely recommend playing it. I just think at least in this instance they should have been more honest.

Worth every penny…
I was impressed with the facilities, the staff, the course, and even the members that they paired me up with.
The course is challenging but playable and the conditions exceeded expectations.
I think I paid about $125 for the round but it was worth it.
I will be back.

The course has great features
From the driving range to the putting green and bunker area; you feel as if you were at an exclusive course. It did not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed my round with three younger golfers who made this 80 year old man feel like “one of the guys.”

Nice course
Course is wide, forgiving off the tee. Huge greens, not super fast but good. Fantastic practice facility, arrive early.. all members of their team were very informative and friendly…worth your time.

Checked in at the clubhouse and my wife was wearing Nike jogging shorts and we were not allowed to play. No cheeks hanging out, very nice, very expensive shorts…. Then the ladies group gathering to play had at least 3 women in shorts - shorter and tighter but nothing said….. most likely members. We were visiting from out of state and come to Sarasota once a year, but we won’t be back to University! IMG golf club was very nice and had no problems with her clothes!!!
