Course is great.. practice area is terrific.

First time playing the course in a couple of years. It’s as good as I remember it.

We very much enjoyed this course, reasonable rates, nice layout and well kept. The staff (aside from the on-course staff) were reasonably unfriendly and stand-offish, especially the starter, his first name begins with an "A". We played 1-9 & 10-18, I am told the 3rd nine is the best nine. I would go back and play it again.

This is one of my favorite courses in Sarasota. The conditions and pace of play are always above par.

4th time. Like the course. Staff are nice. I often play with other guests A few are slow. This club likes to have a pace. Very nice facility. Best to look for the deals. It’s pricey

The greens fee is on the high end for Sarasota, but you do get a private course experience with some of the best greens in the area. We played early morning on a cooler day, which probably helped keep our pace of play under 4-hours. I've played all 27 holes over the years, but this year we played 19-27, followed by 1-9. Plenty of water hazards, but I find the course to be enjoyable and fair at about 6,200 yards and around 125 slope from the Platinum tees. Staff was helpful and carts were in great shape. The outdoor bar area was very nice.

Fair layout. Generous landing areas . Few forced carries. Fast, smooth greens. Good pace of play. Pricier than other local courses.

University Park is usually the best public access conditions and greens we play every January. The greens fee is on the high end, but you do get a private course experience. There are plenty of challenges, but if your moderately accurate you won't have many problems.
