Revere Golf Club - Lexington Course

I have played the Concord before but this one has totally different grass and rough is lush and penal Not recommended for beginners which we had to follow with no Marshalls, They would of had a better time on the other side/Concord.c Overall good Greens a lot of elevation and thank God for carts as this one is not walkable

Great course lots of grass unless you miss the fair way ha! Biggest issue is one group of two guys in front of us, seemed like one guy was teaching another. Long waits at every hole with 4 groups behind backed up as well! They had the nerve to ask us how are day was going while we waited for them to get off the green! Do the carts not have gps to see that there is a hold up? Or are they choosing to ignore, is there a ranger? Otherwise great round, range closes at one also very early !

Played the Reverse Course. Too many holes had blind tee shots and you are not rewarded for good tee shots because of the severe undulations created by the course architect.. In other words, super sloped areas turn mediocre (not bad) shots into penalties. Courses with this much slope can't hold water so even though we played in early June it was very brown all over. Just frustrating to hit good shots but have them end up in the desert or bunkers. Cart GPS only had distance to middle of greens, not flags. One and done for me at this course.

I highly recommend the Revere golf club. Played both courses this week. Lexington is listed as the more difficult of the two courses at Revere. Very challenging course. Only critique was the condition of some of the fairways. Still very playable. Staff is great and the food at the bar is excellent.

I love playing this course as it is challenging and picturesque. Staff is friendly and pace of play is good.

I was here in February and the fairways were terrific.

This round the conditions were disappointing. Some ugly section in fairwars, uneven beat up tee boxes and slow greens.

But I must say the staff is terrific. To a person they were very friendly and helpful.

Overall experience is great. Nice green, excellent fairways, great layout

I have played all over the world. This golf course bar none was the best service I have every had including my many years as a private club member. From checkin to cart hand-in top drawer.

Only suggestions to improve:

1. Directions to range. It’s in a tricky spot for first timers.

2. GPS screen was busy and hard to see where pins were on greens.

Greens = good

Fairways = decent, with some brown spots

Tees = poor ( above my feet all day)

Rough = fair but DENSE

Pro shop = above average

Staff = excellent
