The Legacy Golf Club

The greens are horrible. Very bumpy, shaggy, with many large bare spots. Tee blocks are worn out. It has been a year since I last played this course, I can not believe how quickly it has deteriorated. Great layout.

The course layout was quite enjoyable. The bad thing was almost every hole on the front 9 had large patches of very scarce to no grass on the greens. And for some reason they had the pins placed in these barren parts of the green instead of over where there was actually grass growing. If they had rolled the greens this may have worked, but the bare areas were very rough. On hole 9 we finally went around 2 groups that were taking extremely long to get through the course. Once we got on hole 10 at least we were able to play at a reasonable pace, and the greens on the back were in a little better shape, although quite shaggy.

This course could've been in much better shape with some TLC. The fairway needed much more watering and the crabgrass was very short leaving tight lies. It was better to be in the first cut rough. The greens were sandy after a poor aeration. Nice wide fairways easy to hit, though easy on the eyeline. Perhaps at a different time of year it would be better.

I must have caught this course right after they punched their greens!

Terrible shape. Weeds are growing in the bunkers, tee boxes need some maintenance and that was just the first 2 holes!

It really needs some tender loving care. Hire some better maintenance staff and warn your customers you will be putting on sand!

So this course will give you everything you could ask for, long iron play must be solid, this course is sneaky long

This golf course is really terrible. The layout is average if you like looking at tan houses lining every hole.

The fairways are a bit below average.

The greens are the reall winner on the terrible scale. I've never played worse greens in my life. There is

no putt that you can expect to make. I will never play this course again.

We always enjoy playing this course however at time of booking we were not told that the Greens would be aerated and sanded. At check-in we were told that we would be playing the front 9 twice, but again the staff never mentioned that they had just aerated and sanded the greens on the front 9 that they were putting us out on. The only saving grace was the couple we played with were very nice.

Greens were sanded heavily and made putting impossible. We quit after 9 holes as this took us 3 1/2+ hours for 9 holes. No Marshall

Staff were friendly, fairways were in pretty good shape.

This golf course has a great layout but unfortunately, the greens were in rough shape. The greens may need a few weeks and some water to get them back into shape.

Most greens dirt no grass the ones that were grass are Bushey and slow

So for anyone planning an outing or just planning a golf outing, stay away from Legacy Golf Club or for that matter Any golf course managed by Elite Golf.

Elite golf group manages Legacy, Wild Horse Primm and Aliante. You Never know what you are going to get when playing any of their courses.

Yes I am venting because my group scheduled a golf outing at Legacy on April 11. The course never mentioned that they had recently punched the greens and sand everywhere. But they sure took our money with out mentioning anything to our group. The fairways were dry hardly any grass.

Legacy Golf course by far is the worst course in the Las Vegas area.

Fairways were pretty good with som3 bald spots. Greens were sanded ten days ago an$ there is still alot of sand on the greens. Some friends are lacking grass.

Pace of play was horrid. We quit after 9 holes which took us 3 1/2 hours.

I have played Legacy GC many times and it’s always in great shape but the greens were the worst I have ever seen them! Some had been recently punched with huge swaths of sandy areas. Others were not punched but had not been mowed or rolled for quite some time making them extremely slow. Still others were very patchy so putts would not hold their line - on two holes the hole from a previous day had been filled so poorly leaving a 1/2” gap between the surface of the green and the top of the old hole. Legacy’s pace of play has always been slow with rounds usually lasting 4:5-5 hours. Today’s was even slower than usual because on very short notice they had accommodated a young ladies tournament that had been scheduled at another course which was in poor condition. This slowed down the pace even further but my buddies and I were ok with it given that they were helping out the next generation of golfers! I love the course and today’s bad experience will not keep me from going back and I would recommend it to anyone who has not played it - it’s a challenging but fair course.
