Hate to leave a bad review, but this deserves one
I’ve played courses in terrible shape but at least they gave a big discount. This place is still charging $$$. Sad we chose this course for a golf trip.

Staff was amazing but course not in good shape
The staff including cart barn attendants and bartenders were amazing and very helpful but the course itself was in terrible shape. Greens that are painted green cause they’re half dirt and a ton of dead yellow grass.

Did the groundskeepers resign?
I have never seen this course in this bad of shape. It is atrocious. In fact, we paid $60 for each of us in the afternoon, I’d rather pay $100 on a nice course. This is not a nice course. The fairways are painted green to hide the dead/dormant grass, the “range” balls are one step above hitting rocks & the sand traps are concrete. I am not exaggerating and have no I’ll will towards this course or anyone there..I’m just being honest. I will not return unless I hear from someone else that conditions have vastly improved. What a disappointment for a course that has potential. Charging tourists or non-residents $100+ for this course should be a crime.

Legacy is a friendly golf course. My wife and I have been blessed to meet some super neat people when we played here! I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to enjoy a great round of golf!

Showing the winter a little more than others
The personnel at Legacy are tops. The course has a great layout. However unlike many courses in the area, it is not overseeded and therefore has some very difficult spots. And the pace of play was very very slow, with people playing that had not idea of course courtesy.
It was still a fun day and I imagine in the spring this is a great course.
