Mountain at Angel Park Golf Club
About
Angel Park Golf Club is one-stop shopping in Las Vegas golf.
There are two Arnold Palmer courses, neither one too difficult for the average hacker. Plus, there's a lighted par-3 course with sometimes shrunken copies of a number of the most famous par-3 holes in the world and an 18-hole putting course.
This is the mega mall of Sin City golf. Palmer's Mountain Course reaches an elevation of almost 3,000 feet and provides views of the Red Rock Mountains and Las Vegas skyline when you get into it. The shorter Palm Course (6,525 yards) still offers wide-open fairways that allow you to go for the green. No need to play a timid game here.

Typical Las Vegas Course
Was scheduled to play the Mountain course, but had a chance to partner with a player for the flatter course, good choice given the very windy conditions. Enjoyed to company and the course. Would like to play again under more typical weather conditions. Pace was busy and fairly slow with waits on nearly every hole.
Fun Public Course
Pros:
> Got to play with two retired, local military veterans who kept things fun and light, and shared all the inside tricks :)
> Plenty of stops to refill water bottles
> Great scenery
> Fun course
> Great way to start my 3 day golf vacation
Cons:
> No yardage book
> Cart GPS unit somewhat confusing, with it's yardages measured to some random spot in middle of fairway. No additional information on distances to hazards.
> Range was an extra charge
> Large jump in Slope from Resort (White) to Championship (Blue) tees (15 strokes)
Good Day on Mountain
Don't let hole 1 fool you, it gets much more challenging as you continue. Very nice round for a pinch if in Summerline. Staff was very friendly. Pace of play was standard with most of the other courses being seeded or down for Sept tournaments
Fun course
Second time playing the mountain course. Greens and fairways were in great shape. Great price which included clubs, cart, and a half dozen new golf balls. Staff was very kind and helpfull.
Fair round
Have seen this course in much better shape. Tee boxes need to be mowed. Greens were super slow!
Driving range is bush league! Needs a better look! Looks like a trailer park over there. Course marshals need to be more awRe of people hitting off the tee box. I almost hit him 2x because he crossed the fairway when i was teeing off. He also needs to stop when someone is teeing off.
Desert Football Packer
Most enjoyable round of golf I've experienced in Las Vegas. Looking forward to playing here again.
Angel Park is a great place to golf
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They took the time to explain the course and suggested to play there Cloud 9 (par 3) course. If you’re in Las Vegas, you should check it out. Also the cart lady’s are beautiful a definitely a “Plus” :)
Angel Park
The greens are hard to read here. A couple of blind drives and arroyos.
July hot but course was awesome!
Remember that all putts break to the Stratosphere.
Fantastic condition. Great time!
Good
I like this course very good
I will recommend this course my friend
A couple of tricky holes makes the Mountain course a fun challenge
We played the Palm course on our last trip here, so we chose the Mountain course this trip. There are a couple of tricky holes across the canyon that add to the fun! Ball placement is more important on this course because of the canyon, a little water, and the very thick rough. The greens were hard to read, but that's probably more me than the course.
a Good bargain
Got a great price on golf.now, which included a bucket of balls at their driving. Course fairways were in very good shape, but greens need attention (appear to have suffered some blight and the surfaces were discolored and somewhat ragged).
Beautiful scenery and enough tee options to adjust distance to suit handicap.
Great Value
Angel Park is always a good value. I enjoy the tougher Mountain and again it was a pleasure playing here.
Good Test of Desert Golf
For a municipal facility this is above average. Condition, in places, could be better but overall the fairways were fine, greens a bit bumpy and spotty. The key is to keep it straight, the desert gravel and rocks are unforgiving and impossible to play from unless you're fortunate to have a flat lie without rocks near you ball-otherwise local rule is penalty and drop back in fairway two clubs from start of desert where you entered. Wind seems to also be a factor, some serious carries (from blue tees), but mostly a fair test with no tricked up holes or blind shots.
Great Condition
This course has a number of very interesting holes and is in great condition. Greens were a little slow and bumpy due to recent punching.
uneven quality of the greens
Some greens were aerified and topdressed (these were in decent shape), others looked like they have not been aerified, these were bumpy and slow. The grass was tall and the green felt spongy.
Worth your time and $$$.
This was recommended by Golf Digest, several locals and my golf pro and they were all spot on. The course has some short par 4's put are still tight fairways. Challenging but lots of fun.
Mountain Course
Love this course and the staff at Angel Park. Will always play here
Everything was excellent
A real pleasure in every way. This is not a $150 resort course but this is a great facility and well taken care of course. The golf now price was unbelievable for the quality of this venue.
Angel Park Mountain
Being a local I have a good choice of courses and prices, this was again a fantastic round. Course was in good shape but needed a few places for both divot & ball mark repair. Not the the fault of the course probably the careless visiting golfers.
Overall the place is fantastic and either of the two courses I would recommend. Food is superb, with excellent views, worth a visit even if not golfing.
