Mountain at Angel Park Golf Club
About
Angel Park Golf Club is one-stop shopping in Las Vegas golf.
There are two Arnold Palmer courses, neither one too difficult for the average hacker. Plus, there's a lighted par-3 course with sometimes shrunken copies of a number of the most famous par-3 holes in the world and an 18-hole putting course.
This is the mega mall of Sin City golf. Palmer's Mountain Course reaches an elevation of almost 3,000 feet and provides views of the Red Rock Mountains and Las Vegas skyline when you get into it. The shorter Palm Course (6,525 yards) still offers wide-open fairways that allow you to go for the green. No need to play a timid game here.

What a treat
We were a foursome from Canada, first time playing this course. Handicappers from 5-12. What a beautiful course. Well manicured, somewhat challenging and overall an excellent test for the price. We played everyday for 7 days and this was by far the favorite (and we played some pretty nice courses). Don't miss it.
Nice course close to Strip
First time playing Angel Park. Waited a long time at 1st tee, really backed up. Pace picked up by 4th hole and continued nicely. Some pretty holes over canyon. Good for all levels with variety of challenges.
great course, very poor staff
Enjoyed the course. in good shape. Need s a lot of work on staff. Waited 5 minutes a bag drop, no one came. Carried our clubs in. Woman on club house curt and not friendly. Told to wait at starters tent, waited 10 minutes no one came, so just went. Would still recommend but don't expect any hospitality.
Nice place to play a round.
Fun course to play. Great way to start my golf season. Friendly staff!
Quality
Just a course that is well run and well maintained
Wait on every shot
Poor overall rating for pace of play. Played mountain course at 1:45 on a Monday. Waited on every shot. Greens very bumpy. Not worth the money.
Angel Park Mountain
Looks like they are trying their best to keep the course up with little to no rain. Good condition and a challenging course.
Greens in bad shape
For the most part this was a very good course. Have now played both the Palms course and the Mountain courses. The Mountain course has very challenging greens for the casual golfer like me. A lot of slopes and undulations. Biggest complaint though is also the condition of the greens. A lot of them seemed to be burnt out.
Very Nice Round of Golf
We played on a Sunday late morning, and while the course was full, we managed to complete the round in 4:15. The whole course was in great shape. The beverage girl was around regularly.
We played the Mountain Course, which isn't incredibly long, but they make up for it by making the greens very difficult. I spoke with one of the pros, and he advised that the other course is usually about 5 strokes easier for a duffer like myself, just due to the greens.
That being said, I would have no hesitation in returning to this course. It was a great day.
beautiful
Very nice staff helped me like they wanted me to be there.
very good course, very challenging,
Very good course, the companion course is the Palm course, played the Mountain course. Was challenging, we'll maintained, as an older person, been playing just a few years, this course was very interesting to play, greens very well maintained, fairways well tended for fairly easy and the cuts of rough made it a challenge to play out of. Still finding it hard to putt, the course is close to the mountains toward the west, and at times you can see the Las Vegas valley, some 500 to 600 feet in elevation change. Hard for me to read and sometimes went the opposite of what I thought, really fast....overall a great experience
need to be a great putter
Tee to green great course. Greens are too hard to navigate for average play
Angel park
Very good. Paired with two local players. Very enjoyable.
Can't go wrong!
fairly decent courses. Recommended! Check out some golf websites and they often have nice deals to take advantage of.
Sandy W
Pace of play was extremely slow. Seems they just send groups out with no regard for spacing. We waited a good amount of time on every hole. Will definitely NOT return.
friends enjoyed condition of the course
great course in great shape and the greens were super fast and very difficult.
Angep Park mountain
Nice layout, wide fairway, Do not go to the rough(waste
area). some forced carries. I like it.
NO RAIN CHK. 100% COMITED
EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT, HOWEVER IT WAS RAINING ALL DAY IN LAS VEGAS ON THIS PARTICULAR DAY, I CALLED AHEAD(10AM) TO ASK ABOUT A RAIN CHK, GUY TOLD ME THAT THEY EXPECTED ABOUT 1 MORE HOUR OF RAIN AND THE COURSE WOULD BE DAMP. I GOT THERE MY TEE TIME WAS 12NOON, AND THE GIRL IN THE FRONT DESK TOLD ME THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME A RAIN CHK, TO GET OUT THERE WHENEVER I WANTED. IT WAS A STEDAY RAIN ALL DAY IN LAS VEGAS, BUT I WILL PLAY IN ANY WEATHER , SO I WENT OUT AND PLAYED, EVEN WITH ALL THE RAIN GREENS WERE SUPER FAST.RAIN CHK WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE.
Slow
Nice course, fairways in good conditions, Greens fast but unfortunately bumpy, playing pace very very slow.
Angel Park - Mountain
Excellent course. Played the blue tees and found it fair and challenging.
Had breakfast there and it was fast and friendly. The practice facilities were great. Loved the chipping area.
