Stallion Mountain Golf Club is conveniently situated just minutes from the Strip, but this Las Vegas golf course feels much further away thanks to a scenic landscape of towering, mature pines and six sparkling lakes. Over the years the course has hosted several major events including Frank Sinatra's Celebrity Classic and Las Vegas Invitational. It has a versatile layout that offers plenty of variety and shot values, which makes it appealing for a range of different skill levels. The par 4s and par 5s require long, accurate drives but the approach shots will test your iron game. The golf course also features undulating fairways lined with bunkers and water hazards come into play on 10 holes. In addition to the golf course, Stallion Mountain boasts a comprehensive practice facility that includes a 16-acre driving range with 40 tees, five practice putting greens, two chipping greens, and two practice bunkers.

Challenging course

Stallion Mtn is a challenging course with plenty of contour on the entire course. Course is very well maintained with nice tee boxes and greens kept in excellent condition, with a few exceptions to portions of the greens burned.

Great layout fun and challenging course

Staff was great. Great pace of play. Due to the hotter than normal late September weather allowed us to play at our own pace. Greens were extremely slow and slightly overgrown. The pro shop warned us that the rough was overgrown as well and my group lost several balls due to this. Overall it was a fun day on the course but scores were definitely affected due to the conditions of the greens.

Save your money

Greens are in terrible condition. If you hit anywhere else then the fairway expect to not find your ball. Rough should be cut to less then half its length. Friendly staff

Course condition

Take lots of balls. They seem to think 6 inch rough is good. You have to step on the balls to find them if you miss fairway.

Beautiful

This course was fantastic. Rough cuts were a bit challenging but that’s why they’re the rough. I’m looking forward to playing it again in December.

Over priced goat ranch.

To start with, this was a 5 hour round of golf. Had a marshal on course but he was worthless. A few times we had 4 groups on par 3s and 4s waiting to tee off. If you play here keep your shots in the fairways. If you get out of them, you have 5 to 6 inch tall rough. You won't find your ball. I am sure this slowed pace of play a lot. Several greens were damaged with fungus and drought. Not ideal for putting. Had to pick my ball up on 2 greens and move it so I was not putting through damaged green.
