Royal Links Golf Club

We love this course.!! It is very well run, the staff are great and friendly. Love the theme holes of the british open. This is what makes this course unique. The course was in great shape considering the weather. Some spots on the greens are still being repaired, but the greens rolled true. Fairways were excellent, and the famous pot bunkers did not disappoint. Yikes, stay away from them!! The starters Danny and Greg were terrific, and nice to see your name on the cart as you arrive up. Facilities are excellent, and has that clubhouse feel. Did not use the restaurant and bar this time, but last time it was excellent. My only complaint and it seems to be a Vegas thing, is now they are charging Tourist 2x to 3x the rate of a resident. Royal was 3x the resident rate. In 2019 this was not the case. This practice might permanently remove Vegas from our visits twice a year and go some place else to spend our $4000 plus dollars per week. And the interesting thing, is golf across the country was the only Covid proof activity that continued. So golf courses should have had a good year. Hopefully management will see this and come up with a reasonable solution,

Finally thought to anybody who has not played this course. You have to play it!! but do your homework on pricing, and also prep your self for you own British open round!!

Neat course…all holes are designed to be similar to their European counterparts. Course was in superb shape; tees, fairways and greens. Challenging for sure…if you missed left or right too far…you’re pretty much toast. Bunkers were tough…could use more sand. Great experience.

Good course, nothing really other than placards on each hole that tell you a bit about the course. Stay on the grass you can score well. Tighter course requires getting off the tee to score well. Good time to play once.

One of the best in the valley. Shame that it's closing. Get it in while you can. If you miss this experience you'll regret it later!

Wonderful layout. Good value for price. Played alone and casually played in 4 hours without no players in front or behind me. Great condition and a test from Gold at 6,500 yards. I am a 4 on GHIN and shot a pair of 41s without once being in a bunker. The hay around greens (5-6 thick grass) will lead to lost balls so pay attention to wayward shots. A gem of a course.

I've played the course a couple of times over the last

several years. Really enjoyed it. I was a little disappointed this go around. It's a great track but I noticed empty beer cans laying around the abandoned bathrooms and garbage along the fence by the road hole(s). The rough needs to be cut down. The course needs to be cleaned up in general. It reminds me of Landmark in Indio. Used to be a well manicured track and then went south. Hope to see a better course next go around.

Immediately upon arrival my clubs were placed on a cart. The cart came with a cooler full of water to keep me hydrated. Plenty of restrooms around the course. The holes pass by the clubhouse several times allowing you to get food, drinks, etc. Course in great condition, deep bunkers and some areas have punishing rough. Somewhat narrow with blind shots and uneven lies. Lots of fun!!

It was hot but the course was in good condition. Bunkers were in fair condition at best. Unfortunately, established trees had died.

The course is in good shape right now. I usually don't play the same course 2 weeks in a row but I did here, and would do it again. Kudos to the grounds crew for their efforts.

Royal Links is in amazing condition. Most vegas courses are struggling with their greens but Royal Links greens are in pristine shape. The course overall is in great condition and so is the practice tee. The staff was friendly and the pace was great. Played as a single and the foursome ahead let me play through. Finished in 2:45 after a 1:50 pm start.

About 15 minutes from our Strip hotel. Easy to find. The clubhouse resembles a small Scottish castle.

So much fun to play British Open replica holes!

The giggle factor is enormous and be sure to snap photos of the stories on each tee box. Get a yardage book for the history lessons, plus, you'll need it to see the distance to the numerous hidden bunkers and blind shots. Not your typical American golf experience!

Pro shop and starter super helpful. Special thanks to the starter, I didn't get his name and did not see him after the round to express my thanks.. Got started in front of a big tournament and I assured the marshall that the tournament lead group would not catch us. They didn't. Course was in great condition, except

greens were slow.

Caution, high handicappers will have a difficult time as the bunkers and rough can be brutally punishing.

Ordered a Clubhouse sandwich with chips by calling it in on the 9th tee and it was delicious.

Overall, highly recommend playing this unique golf course for mid and low handicap golfers.

I played this course off a recommendation from the locals and so glad I gave it a chance. One of the coolest courses I've ever played. Very challenging. Love the history lesson you get on every hole that is inspired by course from the Open. Really cool, challenging layout with hidden pot bunkers, plush rough, etc. Conditions were incredible considering it's Vegas in August. Super friendly staff that makes you feel welcome. A MUST PLAY if you are in the area. Will be back!

Good course, close to the strip but staff was not very accommodating. There were hardly any players that day and we booked as a twosome but had us play with another twosome that obviously wanted a faster pace of play. Even with no other players coming, ranger said we had to play as a foursome, so we just separated into twosomes on the third hole. Really??? Ranger needs training in customer service and retention. Ruined the mood for us and the course which was actually nice, however, it was in a very industrial looking part of Vegas.

First time playing this course. Very well maintained and incredibly friendly staff. The only downside (for this round) was slow play. The round was 5 hours and 15 minutes. Not sure where the bottleneck was but had to be somewhere just ahead of my group tee off (9:20 am) which was pretty much on time at tee off. Definitely a course I'd recommend and will play it again.
