Poorly Designed Course
The course itself was in pretty decent shape for the time of year, but we found this to be a poorly designed course. They have a wash that runs throughout the golf course and every fairway is sloped towards the wash for drainage. I totally understand the theory, but seriously you cannot hit a ball anywhere from the center of any fairway or right of center or it will roll off the fairway into the drainage.
You can play left of center of the fairway, if you're that good at target golf, which most of us hackers aren't. I noticed that lots of golfers, including us, were in the red shale to the left of each fairway as they were trying to shoot left of center. In fact, a member we chatted with before we golfed even gave us that advice. Better to be left in the red shale than go right of center, so basically you only have half a fairway!!!!

beware if you slice
the tee boxes, fairways and greens are all in good condition.Course knowledge is important. the problem is, a drainage canal runs through the whole course and if you hit to the right, it will go down a steep enbankment. it may not run into the canal but you will have a blind shot coming back up. some of the time, i deserved to be down there, others, i thought i hit a good shot and it ended up there due to slope of fairway or proximity to the green.the staff were great and the beverages were half the price i paid at many other courses. the pace of play was also good, rarely did we have to wait. also, the carts are equipped with GPS, funny because a lot of higher priced courses aren't. i'd play Sunrise again for $40 but would find other courses if it was much above $50.

The course is built around a drainage ditch. The “fairways” are like cow pastures. This course shouldn’t be on GolfNow.

Golf birds
Down for a Vegas week and found a good course to play. Staff and amenities were excellent. The only advise for people looking for a course to play, Don’t hit right!!

Do not play here
Played behind a group of 5 so the pace was painfully slow. There are no drink carts so the wait feels even longer. Witnessed a street fight on the 5th tee box. Can’t imagine a less enjoyable golfing experience.
Bring extra balls
The course is very unfair. Every thing rolls off to the right. Even some shots in the middle of the fairway roll off. Bring a lot of balls you’ll need them.

Challenging Narrow fairways
Advised by starter, slicers will have a day. No joke. Down middle is a wash, so trouble. Straight shooters ur good. Good challenge to hit left to come back, but not too much either direction.

Total and Complete Garbage
The course is literally located in the slums and I had to see people being arrested while I was playing golf. I couldn’t believe how bad condition the course was in. Greens were wonderful but tee boxes and the fairways were all chewed up and dead. The course was also a challenge bc all the ball I hit kept getting lost in the oddly placed River running straight through the course. I would NEVER recommend this course to anyone. Hope it goes out of business
Well wishing that upon anyone is horrible. I wish people like you just dropped dead for being such being such a dramatic hooligan People with your attitude dont deserve to play golf at all, let alone breathe the same air as us.

Good Course
My first time playing this course and it is very challenging for a beginner golfer like me. Any shot right will lead to the water canal. Also was a really windy day a made it more difficult. Overall nice challenging course that I will come back when hopefully I improve my golf skills.
