Outstanding Day! Marshall needs some remedial training on the definition of “slow play” and “out of position “. I know…they are just volunteers.

Strange course layout built around flood basin makes this course predictable. A fair amount of high handicappers play here.

The course beat me up today. Had fun, and frustration on this course. You have to be accurate or semi left, because if you hit it slightly right you are punished with a creek that winds its way around the the course. The right banks are steep and the grass is gnarly!! The greens where fantastic, and better then Royal Links that we play 2 days prior. The fairways has a few thin spots, but I was only on them 50% of the time. We were paired with 2 scratch golfers and they found the course challenging. Well done Sunrise. Also had a great chat with the mgr Danny about the non-resident rates that have cropped up in Vegas. He gave me a different perspective to think about as they have the lowest upcharge for non-resident. Other course like Royal Links across the street are 3x the resident rate for tourist. (Danny we will be back as Sunrise got us this time.!! A must play for any golfer who wants a challenge.

Played two days in a row over 100 degree heat, but fairways and greens are well kept in despite of Vegas weather! It was a bit challenging to avoid right side of fairway due to a huge ditch/wash along side of entire course, and there were lots of trashes with it. Otherwise it was good course for money and pro shop staff was very friendly,.

Course was in great shape as usual. Weather was perfect and conditions helped my game, just a little bit. Even a bad round of golf beats a good day at work. See you out there.

Second consecutive day playing here. Staff was super! Cart girl was friendly and came around the whole round. Canal was being cleaned up of trash (only negative). Course plays long, avoid the right side (on all holes) and you will have a blast.

Greens can be tricky but were in great shape. Some bare spots on the course but not bad. It's unfortunate there had been heavy rains in the last week so all the worldly possessions of the homeless that live in the wash area were strewn through the drainage areas on the course. The city should be made to clean that up! Overall the course was in very nice condition.

Slowest pace of play I’ve ever seen. It took us an hour to play 3 holes because they have a league on sundays, which is one of the dumbest ideas I’ve ever seen. Groups in front of us taking 5 minutes to find every single shot because they can’t hit the fairway. And since we’re a twosome that play somewhat quick we’re waiting every single shot. So we leave after 4 holes and ask for a refund or a credit for a free/discounted round next time we come and the guy working in the pro shop gave us a business card of the manager (I think). We call him the next day and he straight up said we were lying about the pace of play and he’s not giving us a credit or anything. Guess I’m not going to that course ever again

The entire course could be classified as "hug the left side". There's a ditch running down the right on the entire course, and a ball that hits even the middle of the fairway will end up running down into it, where you will be met with a load of trash/needles etc. Shame really, as the actual course itself is in great condition, but they really need to clean up the garbage in the ditch.
