This is a very narrow, challenging course. I enjoyed it but lost a couple balls. I love the texture of the grass. I thoroughly enjoyed Richard. He played the course a lot and coached my wife and I threw the tough spots!

Good for a Muni!

Nice place and staff. The day I went the range was closed which isn’t the end of the world, but it would’ve been nice to know before booking! I always check websites of courses for alerts, and their website doesn’t appear to be maintained regularly! The course is pretty fun, but punishing if you go right! I like playing here because of that. You really have to use your head around there for a good round. The price is great too especially when you look at how well maintained it is. It’s not the best out there, but definitely one of the beat values out there!

As a Nevada but not a Clarke County resident, I paid $72 for a round. The course itself is OK but the trash in the canal and the run down neighborhood on the edge of the course were extremely distracting. Because there are no markers for the no cart areas and no warning sound when you cross a boundary, I had to push my cart several times.

The only good part of playing here is the ability to play a second round for $20. That brought my per round cost down to $46; still way too much for this course.

Don't go right...

Just about every hole has water to the right, even the par 3 18th hole has water (far) right. The 10th hole has the driving range to the right. If you slice the ball, bring lots of balls. You need to stay left or down the middle of the fairway on EVERY hole. Anything hit to the right will funnel down to the wash and say bye-bye ball if that happens. The greens are hard and fast and only break when your ball is slowing down. It's a challenge all the way around this track.
