Must hit a draw
Small draw and your good, otherwise you will be in the ditch. Seriously, the grounds keepers are constantly working on this course and have it in good shap consistantly.

This wrong place for a golf course
Warning. You’re okay gin the middle of a flood plain. The “Flamingo Wash” runs through it. No hole is without a steep embankment to the right. Takes a mountain goat to get to your ball if you go down the slope. Not enjoyable particularly when we were paired with one guy who threw his club when he made a bad shot. Not just throwing it down in front of him but heaving it into the trees or 30 feet down the fairway. Luckily we ditched them at the turn and had a pleasant back nine on a course to which I never will return.

Cloudy Day at Sunrise
Great value for the price. The course is pretty featureless but I knew that ahead of time. The fairways were average for this time of year; however, the Greens were above average and the best part of the course. It was not crowded and pace of play was excellent. I teed off at 11 :15 am.

Bring your straight game.
It’s a narrow track with a runoff culvert along many of the holes. If your ball ends up in these running waters, smile and kiss it goodbye, that is unless you’re able to scamper down and fish it out of the stream before it sails away.
The course is in very good shape. The greens are true and green, whether by artificial means or not, both the fairway and the greens are in great shape.

Booking Policy
I won't play a course that requires me to prepay, so I do not play here any more. However, was a great Vegas staple.
Odd course
Even though I managed the course fine(first time) if you are a beginner or slice the ball, be prepared to have a long day with lost balls. Every single hole(for real) is a Nono if you go right. Even if you manage to find your ball dry near the river, you always have a blind uphill shot. If I was having an off day, I could see scoring in the 100s. instead shot 86

Not for beginners or habitual slicers
I’m a beginner who struggles with a consistent slice off the tee. There is a creek that eats balls at the bottom of a huge steep embankment either side that runs to a players right every hole out and back. Brutally difficult for someone of my skill level. And beware the GPS engine shut off of carts straying into off limits areas. Can’t argue with the policy but it’s incredibly annoying if you’re not paying attention

Great fairway and green, layout can be better
The fairway and green are in excellent condition. The green is different from many other local area courses. It's smooth but not overly fast, perfect for my taste.
The course is built around a canal, and here's the problem: the canal is on the right side of every hole! The dropoff from fairway to canal is steep and ball won't stop . Any sliced ball will end up in the canal. Not a big problem for me, since I don't slice. But one guy in our group is a big slicer and he lost a ball almost on every shot! It would be nice if sometimes the trouble is on the left side to make it more fair to both slicers and hookers.
