The Club at Sunrise

Too many homeless, gun shots nearby, marijuana and sewer smells.

Course was built along a large city drainage ditch. The kind you see in Terminator and Point Break. The drainage also carries garbage so, some holes have garbage on the banks. The greens are perfect but, getting to them not so perfect.

The course is built on each side of a water ravine. If you saw Terminator or Point Break, one of those cement ravines with water. The water carries garbage and debris by the way. The greens are really good. Fairways are hit or miss. If you slice the ball left to right, it will be a long day. Good luck.

It's nicknamed 'The Ditch' for a reason. Every hole has an enormous drainage ditch along the entire right side. (It's actually the Flamingo Wash.)The ditches were disgusting; filled with garbage and the remnants of homeless encampments that had been partially washed

away. The smell of rotting garbage filled the air through most of the round, and there were many homeless along the outskirts of some holes. Everyone in my foursome said it was the worst course they'd ever played

Nice course, the greens are in good shape. Fairways were fairly good, had some patches where there was no grass. Overall this course was fun to play. Being a local price was right too. Thanks Sunrise.

This is an interesting course layout. You have to play it to understand it. Just don't slice! I will play it again and again and again.

But the course is trash.. literally. Trash is all piled up on edges of the waste water river drain that runs the length of the entire course many fairways are in iffy shape as are tee boxes. All the run down houses on each fairway really takes away from any relaxing vibes u may want to have.

I shot well coz easy track… but the course is bottom line muni at best.
