Golf Summerlin - Highland Falls Course

The course was in decent condition but was very tightly packed into a Del Webb retirement community. There was a lack of mature landscaping and everything funneled to the fairways from both sides. The greens were in ok shape and rolled well. A couple of very scenic holes with views of the Vegas strip in the distance was nice. It was a fairly windy course and at least 10 holes played into a 1 club plus wind. Overall, for the price it was an average golf experience.

Very friendly course with more bunkers than water. Nice conditions of the greens. Pace of play was very good. Would recommend.

Liked the course overall. Not much trouble awaits off the tee. Could use some more bunkering. Appears several bunkers have been filled with grass rather than sans. This time of year the rough is inconsequential as the rough grass iis dormant, so essentially like hitting from the fairway. Pretty much what you see is what you get tee to green. Grass on the greens was coarse and slow later in the day. I would recommend finishing your round before noon to get a good putting surface. Many of the holes, including three of the par 5s play uphill, making them play much longer. I look forward to coming back in a few months when the course is not in Winter conditions. Very good practice area to prepare all facets of your game prior to playing. Shot 83 first time out from the tips.

Punched greens while following a fivesome. Much better conditions for less money at plenty of other courses.

I would have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the course. The only reason why I say this is the value of $115 CAD to play compared to $200-300 for other top notch courses. The greens and fairways were perfect and the scenery around is definitely one of the best around. A few short golf but are a nice break to help the scorecard. A number of holes have water around the greens and fairways to up your round. Definitely worth it ladies and gens.

Great course as I have golfed at eagle crest and wanted to try this course. Love the design and how well the course is kept up. Greens seem to have different shades of green and quite different than what I am used to.

Winter golf in the desert doesn’t get much better. Friendly staff, (Jason) greens that roll true, cold beer and a warm fireplace after the round. Layout is like a regular retired community course but no complaints here. Got a few tips about the putting - rolls away from mountain and towards the Stratosphere. Plus the ball rolls mole if you hit the right landing spots. What a hem.
