Great Layout
We’re in a golf trip, 3 brothers, and could not have had a better time playing this fabulous layout. People were the best to us. Front nine is special, and harder. Tighter with a lot of elevation changes. Back nine is more forgiving, flatter and more open. Both are fun. Lots of fun holes, especially par 3 8th with the bank behind and the double fairway 16th. This is a once a year trip to the Williamsburg area for golf, but we will be sure to play here every year in the future. It’s about an hour away from where we are staying, but so worth it. Best value in Virginia.
An Awesome Layout
This course has an awesome layout, keeps you thinking as you go around, you just cant pull out driver and fire away, course was not in that great of shape though
Restaurant was awesome, staff very friendly

Memorable
The course is a tale of two nines. Requires a variety of shots, but a great experience for most golfers. Not somewhere I’d bring a first time golfer, but definitely a course for someone still learning or experienced.

From the food, staff, greens this course is perfect.
Great layout, great value
This course has it all. Great layout, great conditions, great staff and all at a very reasonable price. I've played many courses this fall and winter and Piankatank is in the best condition I've seen. You will be challenged but if you select the right club and be mindful of the carefully placed trouble you'll be rewarded with a great golf experience.
