Having hosted three PGA Senior Tour events, Wild Creek Golf Course is a run that few golf travelers want to miss and part of what helps to make Reno and the High Sierras one of the top golf destinations on the entire West Coast.
Featuring rolling meadows and challenging golfers with a plethora of water hazards and other challenges, Wild Creek is a popular stop for local golfers. With a course that will challenge golfers of all levels, Wild Creek is also a bonanza for those that love great scenery during their round, as panoramic views of the High Sierras and Reno will be a player's partner for the round.
Wild Creek is rounded out with superb practice facilities, to go along with a par-3 executive course, making it the perfect place for players to sharpen their golfing skills.

Great Course!
Really great course, great views, challenging holes and I understand hosted the Senior PGA several times in the 70s.
A great view of city from course and lots of wildlife (watch your snacks).
Course has a fair amount of water. Some holes easy, others quite challenging. Have played several times.
Incredible value
Got on for $30 with cart from golfnow. Unreal value for the money! First class practice area with grass range! Super friendly staff and great clubhouse with good food. Course is very challenging from the deep tees with mandatory carries over most holes. Tons of fun and will definitely be back again. As far as the greens, you will be hard pressed to find any nicer for the value. Not stupid fast but will roll true every time.
Lawless land
The course was over booked. they were booking twosomes in between the foursomes to make $$. No marshals on the course which made it a free for all out there. No one to keep the speed up or to keep the rowdy people under control.
Nice course
The course was great
accept for the 18 hole that is the worst design I have every seen
and I have been playing golf for thirty years plus I have never play a hole I could not see ware I was going
Fun, cheap, but very slow
Good course, good value. But get somebody out there to speed up the pace. An almost 5 hour round at 3pm on a Friday is a little silly.
Good public course
Nice rates for a course in a toursit town. Course was watered well for a dry part of the country this time of year.
The course is moderately challenging.
My review is based on play from the White tees. Overall, this was an enjoyable outing. The wind conditions were quite apparent on the back nine and made play much more challenging. The greens were very fast and the playing surface was very firm making it hard to keep the ball on the greens unless you play short and roll the ball on.
I would like to play the course again under less windy conditions.
Excellent course for the money
Lots of hazards and challenging elevations and sidehills.. The sand is just hand packed dirt.
The marmots and there sheer numbers were amazing!
Challenging course for first timers ... several surprises! We will be back!

on a trip
I enjoyed playing a spring round of course when the course was coming into it's best condition.First time I played here. I was visiting in the area. Rental clubs were a good quality, although I could have used a longer set. Greens had been aerated but were becoming more puttable.
Fine day on the Links
The course was in good condition and well maintained. The Play was a little slow but the weather was excellent and the views were awesome. Another great value from golfnow.com
Good layout with some challenging holes but not well maintained.
The layout of the course is fun, but a lot of the fairways have large patches of dirt. Some greens are in okay condition, others are not. Still fun to play.
Good shape, lots of water
Course was in good condition, narrow fairways mostly. Lots of players caused it to go very slow. Fast greens, and a lot of water to watch out for.
Great course, awesome scenery
This course mixes challenge with beauty perfectly. Not too hard, but not a plain easy course. Definitely recommend.

THE COURSE WAS IN TERRIBLE SHAPE... NO MENTION OF THIS BY THE STAFF OF COURSE. WE PLAYED BEHIND A FIVESOME... YES FIVE... IN FOUR CARTS! NO MASHALL ALL DAY TO REGULATE PACE OF PLAY. SOME OF US ONLY GET OFF WORK A COUPLE TIMES A YEAR TO GO... DISAPPOINTING TO HAVE SUCH A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! - MICHAEL
Great Views
This course has some amazing mountain views... The course was recently aerated, however it was in pretty good shape. Greens were crazy fast. Only downside was the condition of the green.. lots of brown patchwork, and tons of ballmarks.. not the courses fault, but I just hate to see them, and could be indicative of the types of people that play there.
Course needs attention.
Course needs much attention. Understandably, it's early spring and a very dry winter, but the course needs attention, especially but not exclusively, the greens. I would only recommend this course with a disclaimer that it needs a lot of attention. Otherwise the Golfnowdeal was great.
Fun play weekend
Great weather and very good deal from Golfnow. I am very satisfied with the play. I'll go there and play soon.
