Having hosted three PGA Senior Tour events, Wild Creek Golf Course is a run that few golf travelers want to miss and part of what helps to make Reno and the High Sierras one of the top golf destinations on the entire West Coast.
Featuring rolling meadows and challenging golfers with a plethora of water hazards and other challenges, Wild Creek is a popular stop for local golfers. With a course that will challenge golfers of all levels, Wild Creek is also a bonanza for those that love great scenery during their round, as panoramic views of the High Sierras and Reno will be a player's partner for the round.
Wild Creek is rounded out with superb practice facilities, to go along with a par-3 executive course, making it the perfect place for players to sharpen their golfing skills.

Could use a little sprucing up
I realize it's winter time but I would think the bumps in the bridges as well as the cart paths themselves could use some attention along with some downed trees

For this time of the year the course is in excellent conditions
Fun round under windy conditions
We had a blast playing this course. Greens were really fast. Holes are all challenging and different.
Wildcreek 11/14/2014
This is an interesting but challenging course. Water makes for some intimidating shots. If in good condition, this would be an outstanding course. But there are many patches of open dirt instead of grass. On extremely bothersome condition is on the greens. Holes that are not in use are plugged with a plastic lid. This would be a problem to put across in any case but most are not level with the green. They sit anywhere from 1/4to 1 inch below the surface. It was necessary to move the ball on a couple of holes to avoid having to putt into these despressions.

Nice hilly course. Great value. Course condition in good shape.
Poor players
We were right on time for tee time the players behind us were early and very rude trying to push us even though we were waiting on the group in front of us
NIce day for a round of Golf
Awesome day of golf.. After we let a single play through we had the course to ourselves! What a treat..
Enjoyed by both my playing partner and myself..
Wildcreek is a tough track for me but I love playing it .
Oct 6th
Wanted to take my boys for their first round of golf. When we get there, we find out carts are only doubles and they would not let my 15 yr. old drive so they took turns walking and riding. Grounds were a bit rough but we had a good time. It was close and we will go back.
Course almost always maintained well
Have played Wildcreek many times over the years. The pace of play was fairly slow, being a Friday.
Tee
I find this course very good for all golfers...and will recommend to all my friends and family.

Tough course with lots of elevation change. One of my favorite courses in Reno!
Wildcreek is great
The course was in good shape. Short rough is shaggy. Greens were smaller than I remember. I play to 24 and it's a challenging course. Recommend it and will play again
FUN COURSE!!
This was a Fun course to play! Fairways are pretty open besides a few blind tee shots. Greens were a little slow and unpredictable but that was probably because of my putting ;} Some serious elevated greens & tees which was cool, and course made me use pretty much every club in my bag! Pace of play was pretty slow and was really busy for a Tuesday afternoon, but for the price I didn't mind too much.
Wildcreek afternoon
Played Wildcreek on a windy afternoon. Practice range was in very rough shape. Very little grass. Entire range not very appealing to the eye. Overall course conditions were relatively good, but did find many rough patches in fairways. Greens were ok but speeds not necessarily consistent. Relatively tough layout if you don't know your way around. Some blind shots. No GPS on carts. Used my rangefinder on all holes. Would have preferred to walk but rate included cart. Not a great walking course for those of low fitness levels. Lots of elevation changes. A couple of oddly routed holes and a couple of water holes that probably require layup off tee and long approach unless one is superbly accurate off the tee.
Probably wouldn't be my first choice to play in the area.

The course was in good shape. The staff was very friendly. The pace of play it was 5 1/2 hours way too long.

Course was in good shape and enjoyed the pace of play for two.
This is an excellent public course.

Wildcreek Good Golf Day
The course was challenging yet the fairways were friendly for the most part. Course knowledge was key and we played with a local and it helped a lot. Had a great time! Nice golf course!
Nice course
My friend and I played this course and got one of the hot deals. $25.00 for 18 holes and a cart.
Fun place to play
This the second time that I played Wild creek. It is fun course for the avid golfer. You have to play all the clubs in your bag. Green were in nice shape. It is a moderate hilly course. Plays fair you. Nice scenery. I will play every time I get in the Reno sparks area.
