Golden Bear Golf Club at Indigo Run

Loved the layout but was not in great shape. Not really bad but the greens and holes were not the best

Course conditions were subpar. It was cartpath only on the front nine with GPS that would shut down our cart while we were on the path. When I complained at the turn, they accused me of having 9 "violations" and that's why the cart kept stopping. We never left the path and they basically said we were lying. The other cart in the foursome had no issues. Nothing was offered to make it right. The beverage cart lady told us it happens all the time, but they chose to accuse rather than address the issue. What a horrible experience!

The golf course seems to be good, but the greens were with a light layer of sand, and cars with GPS, that´s we decided not to play and recommended to play in Old south Course (excellent conditions). Golf now did not refounded the money charged.

Played Golden Bear for the second time. The staff was super freindly and helpful. The course was in good shape. my only complaint was the greens ha recently been top dressed which is ok.

When we arrived at course the GB course did not have our reservation even though I had paid. Had to cancel and reserve again. Please put the $ I paid to GN back in my account!

I have a great day playing The Golden Bear. The course was in excellent condition from tee boxes, fairways, sand traps to greens. I will be returning to play this course again.

Cart Path only still course drained very well. And still finished with a 2some in 3 hrs

First time in Hilton Head and first round of golf down here. Great course. Very playable. Pretty open off the tee. Greens had been aerated a couple weeks ago but were getting back to good condition. Would definitely play again.

GB is a beautiful and scenic golf course. It is reasonably priced for Head Island. I usually play GB while on vacation here.

This was my first time visiting the course. Staff was very friendly and helpful however prices in the pro shop are outrageous. Course is a fun challenge with branches overhanging fairways at sometimes can be frustrating it requires shot shaping. Green were below average they had been punched 10 days ago but nevertheless not good. The alligator community is very active on the course so keep your head on a swivel. Overall experience was good will be coming back.

Wide fairways and nice scenery. Surprized that for the price carts lacked GPS. Course in excellent conditiion. Glad we had nice breeze to make the afternoon bearable.

Nice course. Wish we could have seen Jack Nicklas. Only problem was heat but they have a lot of water on the course and a great ice machine on the porch.Only problem was one hole was closed but it also gave me my only par for the day.
