Oyster Reef Golf Course

Played Oyster Reef for the first time today and it’s a solid option on HHI. I feel like the afternoon rate is a decent value. Not sure I’d pay the $100 plus for a winter morning tee time. But I still enjoyed the course. It’s in good shape. Greens smooth and a nice pace. Fairways are semi dormant this time of year. And tee boxes were ok. There is a lot of sand. And it was very inconsistent. It’s a fun layout with a good mix of holes. A lot of doglegs. They are usually lined by bunkers. And the greens are well bunkered. So a lot of holes that make you think. I would play it again for sure.

Greens were in fantastic shape. Smooth and good speed. Greens held good shots well.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Amenities all were present. Will definitely return.

Like other courses around the area and time of year, we caught the tail end of overseeiding. Still everything except a couple tee boxes was in great condition. Pace was 4 1/2 hours which was nice.

I would play again but at $112.00 I feel it’s a little pricey.

Greens are real slow and no one apparently repairs ball marks.

Terrible gnat problem on the driving range.

I had to go in the club house and pay $10.00 for bug spray just to hit some balls.

Course is excellent great layout you can’t ask for any better quality in your life.

I have played this course a number of times. It has always been a good experience. The course was in great shape. The staff are always very helpful and pleasant. Love playing this course.

Layout of the course was very good. Conditions overall were good; fairways only fair (in some places) but greens were excellent.

Course was decent, worth playing, I thought it should have been more of a $60.00 course, but golf prices everywhere have gone thru the roof. Would not pay that much to play it again but we did have a good time playing with the couple we were paired with. Just be advised that it is not a premier golf course that it may be built up to be.

This course is not worth greens fees of $165, The greens were very slow and not in good shape. The tee boxes were all beat up and the fairways were in average shape.

I had a coupon for a 10% discount and the pro shop would not honor it because I made my reservation on line.

Overall it was a very bad experience, I've played there the year before and it was in much better place.
