Golf course is terrible under new ownership.

Get rid of the trashy talking bartender, Jodee, who will yell at you for not tipping the amount she wants. Such a trailer park trash of a woman.

New owners have no idea what customer service is and fired all the great employees from the pro shop.

Community used to support this clubhouse but not anymore. Go play at World Golf Village.

Do not waist your time or money here.. new owners are horrendous. Golf course is going to crap, and the bar is turning into a redneck truck stop with an interesting specimen behind the bar, who if you don’t tip to her liking she’ll let you know about it.. sad what has happened, used to be a fun friendly atmosphere with good enough course conditions for the money. Won’t ever return, much better places to play in the area while on vacation or for locals.

Temperature was great. Hardly anyone playing today. What we enjoy is even though we have a 12:30pm tee time we play immediately whatever time we are ready to go. Greens were super fast in good shape. Price was great.

The new owner is beyond bad! Leave a message for him and he never calls back! Awful daytime bartender, no people skills, very unprofessional! Used to draw a good size crowd for trivia which the neighborhood enjoyed, only to see the people that ran trivia were laid off, due to hearsay, which was TOTALLY UNTRUE!

So far it looks like they are losing a lot of customers!

Fun course to play. Horrible bar to hang out with the bartender they have. If you like trashy loud mouthed bartenders this is the place for you. Will not play here while she is working, huge turnoff for the place.

Traveled to St. Augustine with my family for vacation. Found Royal St. Augustine online decided to make a tee time during the week. Checking in was great golf shop staff very friendly, morning gentleman was a younger man very nice and professional.

Golf course was decent shape, fun different layout very tight, tough for the average player I’m sure. There needs to be different review options for staff, because....

After the round is where this place goes to crap! Wanted to have a drink and something to eat at the bar. Bartender joeleen was the rudest person I’ve met and extremely unprofessional for a country club. I asked what’s good here; her response... “nothing” I was shocked at that response and she wasn’t joking! Later she was yelling and cursing to the kitchen cook in front of customers at the bar!

I recently heard royal st Augustine was sold and under new ownership. If this is the bartenders they will employ, I will never return and will most definitely tell others to stay far away. Very sad to see, ruins vacation days.

Hazards could be better marked. Ball disappears into hazards never to be seen. Layout is over 7.5 miles. Crazy

Course was somewhat wet, but that didn't affect the game. Always challenging.

Very few other golfers mid day.

Course was in very good shape with all the rain the past wks. Golf carts are getting old and have some problems. Will play again soon

I have played this course about 30 times. Every time the course was in impeccable shape. Fairways, greens etc always were in great shape. I had not played here in about 9 months so when I suggested to a friend I did not realize what was going to happen. Weeds, crabgrass, high fairway grass unkept bunkers were routine. They put us behind what appeared to be a league of slow players and did not let us know. The carts used to have gps but now they only have a sign that says to clean your cart out after you are done with the round. On top of this I had forgotten my shoes and was wearing sandels. They did not have shoes for sale in the pro shop. I played in flip flops. I can only assume they are closing soon.

Great pace of play, interesting layout, friendly staff, will play again.

This is a good course although with very narrow fairways.

Played from forward tees with irons instead of driver and was able to enjoy it.

It was not kept up to par maintenance wise as compared with similar priced courses in the area.

There is an inordinate amount of driving in between holes and needs better signage.

This course is in better condition than years ago. Was able to collect my first Eagle after driving home 3 and sinking the putt.

The course is pretty good but the staff is absolutely great from the guy in the pro shop to the bar staff to the maintenance crew... all friendly.

As mentioned, bring a few extra golf balls maybe some of those old top flights and Wilson's that have been hanging around. You will use them.

Really enjoy this course each time we play it. Perfect weather, excellent cocktails, everyone very friendly! I consider this a challenging course because some of the fairways are very narrow and if you drift off to the right or left, the rough is a Forrest! I highly recommend playing this course, it;s a tremendous value as well.
