About
The course at the Wedgefield Golf & Country Club, although suitable for all golfers, is most appropriate for intermediate players. The affordably priced Wedgefield Golf Club used to be known as Rocket City and Cape Orlando. The course has a classic-Florida style layout with medium sized greens that are guarded by bunkers and fairways lined with cypress trees. There is water on the golf course but it is not a significant factor in the game. However, there is one hole, the par-3 sixth hole that is surrounded on three sides by water. Wedgefield Golf & Country Club, in addition to the course, has a chipping area and putting green as well as a golf school.

Course was in good shape. Play was at a good rate good value for the money.
For the money a nice course
I would play this course again. The price was right and winter golf in Florida can be expensive. I enjoyed the layout and time with two sons who don't get to play much.
Brian’s bogies
Staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and awesome. Course needs a little work but overall a fun course to play. We really enjoyed meeting and talking with the staff. We would definitely play here again.
No rakes
Staff very friendly. Greens tricky but ran well. Course was quite good and decent value for a deal on golf now. Some patchy areas on the fairways and tees but in decent enough condition. The bunkers had obviously been raked by the greens staff and were in decent condition but there were no rakes so loads of footprints left by golfers, a bit of a shame.
Great value for the money
The course it's self was interesting but the maintenance could use a little boost
Some fairways had crab grass and or bare spots in them
The greens were nicely filled in but had not been cut or rolled in awhile
That being said, it was great value for the small greens fee that I paid
Very fun course. Good layout, good conditions except for a couple ree boxes. Greens true and quick, not exceptionally fast.
Enjoyable round - good condition
Good condition for winter golf in Florida. Staff very friendly and helpful - nice explanation for the first time playing the course. Also, nice maps of course provided. Only negative was no rakes - none in traps, none on carts - what's the deal with that? A little out of the way, but would likely play again.

Always great conditions
Fairways and greens have been in phenomenal shape.
Worth the Drive!
Staff was friendly. Nice layout, good condition. Greens were consistent. Not much of a driving range (and $6 for a small bucket of balls). Nice putting green. Sodas etc were reasonably priced.
It is a bit of a drive, but worth it for the price. Pace of play was fairly slow right off the bat, but we were a pair behind a couple of groups of four, and it was a beautiful day. Will play again!
