Beautiful
Looking forward to playing this course again. The layout is quite beautiful and yet a bit of a challenged on some holes. Well manicured greens and fairways made this round a great value.
Well maintained
A shorter track but all around a good experience. Well maintained for the volume of play it seems to have. Greens need a little love, but it didn’t slow them down. The pace of play was slower than other area courses but we still finished at 4hrs.
Fantastic
Have not enjoyed a round of golf so much as I did today. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Conditions from tee to green were excellent.
Santa Rosa
Rode the Blacks (6720/72.1/127) early morning with GDR23 in 3H, 20M. Overcast, breezy and in the 40's when we teed off, but in the 60's when we finished.
Course played long after the first rain of the season the day before. Lush and green throughout with snow capped mountains in the distance made for great scenery today. Over seeding much thicker than when I played here earlier in the month. Santa Rosa would be a challenging course to walk with many tees are a long way from the last green.
Over seeded tees were lush, level and nicely maintained with very few unfixed divots.
Over seeded fairways were lush and nice to play from.
Over seeded rough was thick/lush and in the 2.5" range, Penal when wet, not that bad once it dried out.
Sand traps were nicely maintained with thick, good dark quality sand.
Large over seeded greens putted medium fast and are firm. Few ball marks, they rolled nice!
Customer service is usually good from everyone here. No on course services due to COVID. Nice, all grass driving range. Basic carts do not have GPS or ports for electronics. Definitely recommended.
Excellant course
This was a great course. The fairways and greens were in excellent shape.
the only downside was cart path only, but that is typical for this time of year.
I look forward to playing there again.
Santa Rosa
Rode the Blacks (6720/72.1/127) mid dayr as a single in 3H. Very few golfers out playing. CPO made it seem longer than 3H. Overcast, breezy and in the low 70's.
Course just came out of over seeding and is still probably 10 days from allowing carts on the fairways. Not in as good of condition as the sister San Gorgonio course, especially the greens.
Over seeded tees were lush, level and nicely maintained with very few unfixed divots.
Over seeded fairways were consistently lush and nice to play from.
Over seeded rough was thick/lush but mowed down, not overly penal.
Sand traps were nicely maintained with thick, good dark quality sand.
Large over seeded greens were firm and putted medium speed with few ball marks, but they had some thin areas where the over seeding hopefully will come through more.

Nice course, greens are a little slow, still recovering from the over seed. Would recommend playing here.
Gorgeous Course
This is a gorgeous course. Played on 12/5 (Saturday) using a $65/golfer Underpar cert and we received more than our money's worth. The layout was great, the fairways in pristine condition, the greens almost perfect (as it was still just after maintenance), the staff friendly, the range beautiful. I would love to play this course again!
Cart Path Only Stinks
Called 2 days prior to verify that it was not "cart path only" and told no, carts will be on the fairways. Arrived to be told "cart path only". Should be a disclaimer in tee time reservations.

Still recovering from overseed but in great shape, greens are VERY slow.
