Beautiful layout, well manicured
With a hot deal or afternoon rate, this course is one of the best values in area.. Has a nice feel to it with good mix of easy and challenging holes. Greens are gorgeous. Sometimes slow...but i really enjoy this golf course
COURSE LAYOUT IS GOOD
NO ONE WAS ON THE COURSE AT 11AM-GREENS ARE GETTING THIN MIGHT LAST ANOTHER MONTH-
Bad shape, pace of play terrible
5 hour round, 10-15 minutes in between shots, very slow greens
The Old Errol Estates is Back!
Some of he best tees and greens in Orlando - especially the greens. The overall course is in great shape and it's obvious the new management team has made some serious investments in the course. It's always been a very playable course, but with the improved conditions, it's more enjoyable than ever. The pace of play is very good and the value for the money is exceptional.
Greatly improved
Would play again. Picturesqe with a laid back attitude.
Big Improvement over last year.
I played this course last year, and loved the layout, but the condition was poor. New management this year and it shows.
Keep the course like this and I will be back often.
Enjoyable round..a few greens not in great shape..fairways in fine shape...sand in traps not consistent but who says they need to be. Friendly staff.
Enjoyable round..overall above average...able to play quickly...not too crowded
The course has improved great compared with last year. It is excellent and joy to play.
Value for the money is the greatest. Nobody except us played entire hours. No starter either. Only defect was unkindness of proshop staff. The course was improved a lot compared with the condition last year. I like to come back again.

Overpriced just because they have a hoity toity golf school the golf course is now great? Hasn't change enough from when it was 20 bucks to justify 40
Used to be a good be a fun course for $20 was averagely maintained and plenty of challenge, but now it is twice as much and not close to being and never will be twice the course it was...Just because they now mow everyday and have a fancy school associated with the club doesn't change the layout of the course which has always been good. They condition has improved but it isn't a $40 a round course, mostly because of the lack of scenery ; most of the holes have houses on one side and water, or should I say reeds on the other can only think of one hole without houses !
Winter rye has grown in nicely. Fairways, tees and greens were in excelent shape. Green were slow.
The reason I do not do more reviews is because of technical difficulty which is a waste of my time.
We love playing this course.
We just really like this course. Play goes well, in a timely manner.
Great coursr in excellent condition
I have played Errol Estates many times, but never has it been in such wonderful shape. The tees, fairways and greens are in better condition than any course I have played in Central Florida by far.
Nice staff very good track, great staff, very nice greens! Hilly corse on the back 9 nice driving rang , great food sit down dinner!
Will go back! Great hilly corse in Florida . Great food ! Also great to go for dinner!
Always one of my favorite courses.
Course is greatly improved from 6 months ago. Not perfect yet but getting there.
Work in progress
Errol Estates has three 9 hole courses although the Groves is now only used for the Lee Westwood school.
This is not a typical Central Florida course - there is a lot of elevation changes and many large, mature trees along the course. Under new management, the course conditions have improved; however, the greens still need improvement. Even the putting green needed work.
All-in-all, this course has a great layout and it's worth playing if you can get a good deal.
Hills and Valleys
Great course not a hard course to play.
Some tee areas need more attention.
Need more drinking containers and ball washers.
I could not believe the price.

Management is doing a great job.
Management is doing a great job getting Errol Estate back into shape. In the past 4 or 5 times I have played the course I have seen a marked improvement in the greens and the fairways. It is a great track to play.
improved
Course has improved from earlier this year.
Some greens still a work in process. Fairways are avg. to good.
Will want to play again to see if they are serious about making this a better course.
Under new management must have brought ratings up
12:28 Tee time. Great price for this round. Course has fair layout. However, very rough looking; needs alot of work: tee boxes & greens are awful. Crab grass & weeds in fairways. Carts had windshield w/ rain cover in back. Will probably play again since new management has taken over & I see some positive reviews now. I mostly always recommend everyone to try every course for themselves.
Thin fairways
Played here as a twosome trapped behind a foursome making for a long round. The fairway grass was almost nonexistant making shots off the fairways more like long bunker shots. The price is right, the staff very friendly, and it was a beautiful day. A good place for sunshine and fresh air, but golf experience below average.
review of Lake/Highland Courses. Errol Estates has 3 nine hole courses.
